Question:	Can the 50 ft cable run 4k @ 60Hz? Do I need to worry about signal degradation with a cable that long
Answer:	Yes, you need to worry. Without getting into agonzing technical detail, 50 feet of HDMI will affect the quality of your signal. It is recommended that you don't extend HDMI beyond 25 feet, and with most Chinese cables, that is truly pushing it. The greatest factors are wire gage and shielding. The smaller the wire, the greater the resistance, and the shielding quality will help prevent ingress of coupled noise to your signal. If the shielding is connected to both ends of the cable - and I say this from much personal experience - watch out for ground loops. Two final notes: Because - most - HDMI applications use cables that are < 6 feet up to 10, manufacturers can go on the ultra-cheap. Small wire gage and almost useless shielding. Chinese sweat-shops are the worst oh, wait a minute, that's where almost all AV cables are made. Sorry. Finally, since there are so many factors that will influence signal integrity at 50 feet, I would look at professional HDMI cables, which can easily run up to >> $1,000. Answer:	No, only HDMI in to HDMI out using an ethernet cat5 or cat 6 cable to connect the transmitter to the receiver for a long distance not over 300' as a rule.

Answer:	I am not sure what your question is but I assume that you want to connect the video source to a second TV. Assuming that your video source has an HDMI connector, this extender should work perfectly. You may also need an HDMI splitter if your video source only has one HDMI connection. You would need a short HDMI cable to the extender. Then run a Cat5 or Cat6 from that extender to the other TV location. Plug the Cat5 or 6 into the other extender box, then another short HDMI cable to the second TV. I have a central media closet and use these HDMI extenders for all of my 5 TV's. Works great! I also use HDMI splitters from the video source to all TV's.

When the EDID cannot automatically identify the monitor parameters, the image may not be displayed, please perform the following steps.

 Connect the monitor to the HDMI IN on transmitter.

 Connect the power supply to transmitter.

 Press and hold the EDID button for 3-5 seconds. The green light on transmitter side stops flashing, indicating EDID copy is complete.
