They allow users to transmit audio from their TVs to Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or other compatible devices. This wireless connection enhances convenience and flexibility.

  6. Multi-Device Support: Some adapters support connections with multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This can be useful for households where multiple viewers may want to use their own Bluetooth headphones.

  7. Sound Quality: The quality of the audio largely depends on the capabilities of the connected Bluetooth audio device. However, many adapters aim to maintain high-quality audio transmission without significant degradation.

  8. Power Source: Amazon Bluetooth adapters for TVs are typically powered via USB, which can be connected to a USB port on the TV or an included power adapter. This ensures continuous operation.

  9. Volume Control: Some adapters come with built-in volume controls or include a remote control, allowing users to adjust the audio level directly from the adapter or remote.

  10. Range: The range over which these adapters can transmit audio may vary, but they generally cover a typical living room setup.

These Bluetooth adapters for TVs from Amazon offer an easy and convenient way to connect wireless audio devices to your television, enhancing your viewing experience and providing flexibility in audio output options. User questions & answers

Question: How unreliable is the 802.11 ac going to be on the new fire tv where they recommend this ethernet adapter when i put the 3rd gen fire tv in my cart
Answer: Wait. Folks need a reality check. This is ethernet USB adapter is only 10/100Mbs while the 802.11ac wireless protocol can, theoretically, reach 1.3Gbs! Yes, in real life that speed is unobtainable, but 1Gbs is obtainable and amazing. More so, it is an order of magnitude FASTER than this stupid thing. Really, it isn't that hard to put a 1Gbs ethernet interface in that USB adapter in this day and age. If you feel your wireless can't handle it, but want spectacular performance with your television, get rid of any WiFi extenders you may have and replace them with WiFi routers that support 802.11ac (decent ones are here on Amazon for $60-$70 and less on Prime Day). An extender, by design, cuts the WiFi speed in half as it's sole purpose is to strengthen the signal, not push your WiFi data faster (routers do the latter as that is what their primary function). In fact, put the WiFi router near your TV to get the optimum performance to minimize interference. One caveat that wired has over wireless and don't argue with me on this: Wired is inherently more secure. I will help people secure the heck out of their Wireless, but it won't change the fact that your neighbors can attack your wireless network without being inside your house. (both wired and wireless can be hacked over the Internet as that issue is about the Internet Protocol (IP) address's reachability, not the physical implementation of the network). If your performance of the wireless is still really bad , then you highly likely need to change the WiFi channel that you are using. For instance, if all your neighborhood has the same Internet provider, you are all on the same WiFi channel. There are android apps that report what channel you and your neighbors are using, but for iPhone, you are essentially SOL on that. Ask your Internet provider for help.
Question: Is this GB Ethernet
Answer: Just a heads up. If you're not far from your router, wifi might be faster. On my Fire TV 2 4k box, I get 156-160Mbps wifi on a 5ghz signal, wired I get 95-96Mbps (aka I get 2/3 the speed plugged in, the Fire tv is only 10/100, it's not gigabit port!)
Question: What the heck is this thing and what is it for
Answer: This is not an FM transmitter Bluetooth receiver, it will require you to plug into an aux port in your car or with the stereo.
Question: Is anyone else annoyed that cuz amazon wanted to shave $2-3 and a bit of space in new 4k firetv, now have to spend $fifteen to get wired enet
Answer: This is meant to receive audio via Bluetooth. If your tv can connect to Bluetooth speakers, then yes it should be possible (please check compatibility) if plugged into you home stereo or entertainment system. If supported.

User questions & answers

Question: Can I connect more than one Bluetooth speaker at a time
Answer: According to the instruction manual, yes. Manual shows how.
Question: Would this work with bluetooth speakers (specifically jbl flip speakers
Answer: I assume they're analog stereo and analog mono (which I assume is what "mono audio is supposed to mean, but I don't have any devices with that term), but all I know for certain is that the one that looks like stereo is stereo, and the other is mono.
Question: Would this work on an airplane
Answer: How unreliable ? In my experience Very unreliable ! Evidence of this is how this item has been in and then out of stock non stop since they released the fireTV4k . For me : my FireTV will not hold a fast connection on my 5ghz network with 200mbps . This despite the fact that the router is within 5 feet of it ... and my old firestick's never buffer or lose a connection and nether does anything else in my house . I absolutely HATE the new FireTV4k ! Side note : Amazon contacted me and said they'd send me the ethernet adapter Free to resolve the issue ... needless to say ... they never did 2 months later ... and the customer care agent who contacted me and said this Does NOT return my emails now . Probably overwhelmed ! Do NOT buy the 4K FireTV until they resolve the issue !
Question: What are the two pins at the back? one looks like stereo, but what is the other one? "digital audio" or "mono audio
Answer: This Ethernet adapter only gets up to 100Mbps (10/100), so it is useless if you're buying it as a replacement for your wireless connection. The higher the speed, the better your audio/video quality. As an aside, Roku has had GIG Ethernet (10/100/1000) connection for years & the technology itself has been around since 1999. So it really disappoints me that Amazon has put something out like this. It costs but pennies (literal pennies) to upgrade their firestick to that standard. Also, with advances in Homeplug PowerLine IEEE 1901, customers no longer have to keep their wired computers close to their home router. I can confirm that Roku, Slingbox and the DishNework receivers are PowerLine -compatible.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this adapter supply power (for asus zenscreen mb16ac
Answer: Yes and no. This is a USB 3.1 "USB Alternate Mode" device, that relies on the port you connect it to supporting DisplayPort over USB-C. When connected to an adapter like this, your port stops being USB3 and becomes DisplayPort. This adapter does voltage conversion etc, but from the computer's point of view, any monitor you connect to it isn't USB - it's DisplayPort. USB-C ports on laptops usually support this mode. Ports on desktop PCs are hit-and-miss. Ports on hubs almost never support this mode.
Question: Can this adaptor connect to Apple Display and support both Ethernet and display on the same port
Answer: I would think not. I think you need multiple thunderbolt 3 devices to do that.
Question: Is this a usb c gen 1 device
Answer: Probably not directly to this device. I think some bluetooth speakers let you "daisy chain" them over bluetooth (i.e. one is connected to this and another speaker, and shares the audio stream with that second speaker), but that's probably not what you mean. I'm not even certain you can pair this with more than one bluetooth device at a time (it might "forget" the first one when you pair it with the second one), but you probably can. (I can't give more definite answers because I can't even pair this with one bluetooth receiver (headset). You know how, often, you put one device into pairing mode and the other has a screen you use to select the first device and choose to connect to it? Well, I can put this transceiver into pairing mode and tell my phone or laptop to connect to it, but the semi-automatic way it pairs to headphones and most speakers hasn't worked for me yet.)
Question: Can this adapter support daisy chaining multiple monitors (e.g. Dell U
Answer: I have mine connected to Bluetooth headphones. So I would imagine so.

User questions & answers

Question: Is the item compatiable with a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablet? The description only mentions Mac compatiability
Answer: With iMac Late 2012 model , only Display is getting recognized , not Audio. This model does support Mini DisplayPort via Thunderbolt. System preferences->Sound o/p, only shows Internal Speakers. The HDMI cable is plugged into an aVR's HDMI input and input switched. I get a Display resolution change(and display shows AVR o/p), which confirms the HDMI connection works fine, but not recognized as a Sound o/p device. What am I missing ? Is this defective?
Question: i have macbook air 2013 connected but there is no sound
Answer: It works but max resolution is 1920*1680
Question: Does this adapter support audio

Question: Will this fit with the newer Mac that requires Thunderbolt 3, instead of 2 or
Answer: On a macbook pro the sound is unaffected - this is display only. I don't think there is any sound connection associated with a pc connector like there is with some HDMI ports. User questions & answers

Question: with this give sound from my Sony audio out to my sterio reciever so i can hear through mt surround sound speakers
Answer: Yes you should be able too. I have an old song stereo receiver and I can plug that in and have surround sound, but you would have to have it as a multichannel. Since it’s just a single headphone jack
Question: My tv has l&r rca and i want it to connect to my speaker with 3.5mm jack.. will it work
Answer: just as long as your speakers are powered or you might have to use a amp,, normally outputs from sources like tv will not have the power to run speakers,,,standard outputs from rca or a headphone jack will need to connect to a reciever or amp and you would connect your speakers to the amp/reciever,,ie AVR etc etc, self powered speakers will be fine for a direct connection but in general a receiver will offer better options and more devices can be added .
Question: What is the distance to the split point
Answer: I think it is 3-4" which is plenty for any traditional R/L connections. Could go fairly wide if you were plugging into some vintage equipment. Good luck.
Question: Is this a stereo cable
Answer: If it works properly. Mine became a mono cable in just over 8 months.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this 3 or 4 pole
Answer: It is a 3 pole and works well.
Question: How can we tell if headphones using are of the 4-pole variety (eg. headset + mic) or 3-pole to know they will work better with this cable?( Ezflyer
Answer: Count the number of connection 'rings' on your headphone's plug - from the tip down to the body/handle of the male plug. A 3-pole connector will have 3 connectors and 2 plastic/dark colored insulator rings & a 4-pole will have 4 connectors and 3 plastic/dark colored insulator rings!
Question: Will this work for Bose QuietComfort 25 and
Answer: Hi David! I looked up the QuietComfort headsets on the Bose website, and it looks to me that they use a standard 3.5 mm cable/connector. But, just to be sure, call their customer support to confirm....the phone number is: 1-800-379-2073. Good luck!!
Question: Can this extension cord be used for headphones, not just stereo systems
Answer: This is a "Tip Ring Sleeve" or "TRS" extension cord. It can carry a stereo signal just fine but if you have a head set with a microphone that uses one plug to connect both the head phones in the microphone then it's not going to support the microphone. This is because a microphone headphone combo head set uses a "Tip Ring Ring Sleeve" or "TRRS" connection and basic headphones just need "Tip Ring Sleeve" or "TRS" connection. Googling "Tip Ring Sleeve" and looking at the images section will probably demystify the naming scheme.

Amazon Smart Plug, works with Alexa – A Certified for Humans Device

  • Certified for Humans - Struggle-free, tinker-free, stress-free. No patience needed—it's actually simple.
  • Schedule lights, fans, and appliances to turn on and off automatically, or control them remotely when you’re away.
  • Simple to set up and use—plug in, open the Alexa app, and start using your voice.
  • Compact design keeps your second outlet free.
  • No smart home hub required—set up routines and schedules through the Alexa app.

User questions & answers

Question: Why does my smart home plug work on some outlets and not on others? It works fine with my Echo when plugged into one outlet, but not a different one
Answer: All of the answers that suggest being on "A and B 120 volt sections" are wrong. This device works over WiFi. That old "A and B" advice is for obsolete powerline systems like X-10. Any problems are due to WiFi signal quality. The Smart Plug and Echo do NOT need to be on the same "120 volt section."
Question: Do I need an Alexa device in the home to control the outlet while we're away
Answer: As long as you have the app and the outlet is paired with your Alexa app, you can control it through the app (no echo device needed).
Question: Does it work with a 5g wi-fi or is like the other one you sell that only work with a 2g wi-fi
Answer: You probably don't want this device to use 5 ghz wi-fi, which has a limited amount of signal channels. 2 ghz wi-fi has fewer channels, running at lower speeds, and is generally conjested with traffic from your neighbor's wifi. You won't, however, notice a difference in lag for a smart plug due it is only using about 1 kilobit per second over a connectionless protocol to activate or deactivate the plug. This plug, running on the 2 ghz wi-fi, means that there is one more channel available on the 5 ghz wi-fi for a device that really needs it, like a TV or a gaming console, which tend to transmit at around 25,000 kilobits per second each.
Question: My Keurig has a toggle switch. Will this plug work, or does the appliance have to be turned on when it is plugged into the smart plug
Answer: I haven't even installed my smart plug yet and I can already answer this. The plug will turn it on but how would it press the button to brew? Again, I can already say it won't do that. Another answer mentioned using a switch bot. Okay. So smart plug $10-$15 plus switch bot $20 ... Dude, just go buy a coffeemaker with a clock/timer. They've been around FOREVER and will both turn themselves on and brew your coffee for you and you don't even have to make a whole pot. You can get an entire coffee maker for like $25 then use your smart plugs for something else/something that doesn't already have the ability to turn itself on/ect. :)

User questions & answers

Question: Is Echo supposed to be able to turn TV on and off once you have the remote set up
Answer: I can confirm that this remote works with the nvidia shield as of update 7.2.1. When pairing, you will need the nvidia or other remote to select the remote and tell it to pair. The amazon remote comes up as "AR" on the bluetooth pariing screen. Volume controls also work!!
Question: Product description contradicts itself. is it or is it not compatible with the 2nd generation fire tv stick with alexa voice remote
Answer: I have the 2nd gen Fire TV stick and bought this generation remote to get the TV power and volume controls. My remote did sow up with instructions on a narrow folded booklet. I followed the "if this remote is in addition to the remote that came originally", and the setup routine provided step-by-step instructions to pair the new remote with both the Fire stick and my Samsung TV. Basics were to use old remote to go to "Settings" and then "controllers & Bluetooth devices", then "Amazon Fire TV Remotes", then "Add New Remote". Next you push the home button on the new remote for 10 seconds until it flashes rapidly to show it's ready to pair. You'll see the new remote listed (the only tricky part was realizing the listing of "Amazon Fire Remote" was the new one, not the old one). Select that and it'll tell you to wait for a minute, after which it asks you if you want to pair with your TV too. In my case it successfully detected my Samsung TV, asked me if this was correct, then confirmed power and volume worked. Whole thing was done in about 3-4 minutes.
Question: Is this compatible with the NVidia Shield
Answer: I am using it to send movies from my Canon mini-cam to my 27 inch PC monitor. As long as the connectors fit, small on one end and large on the other, and the fire tablet can drive a picture or movies to the TV I believe it should work.
Question: Is there instructions to pair it with a TV? If so mine didn’t come with any
Answer: I don't know. However, I can tell you how it works between my Dell laptop and Sony TV. After hooking up the cable between my laptop and the TV I remember the HDMI port I've connected the cable. My TV has 3 HDMI ports. Next, I bring up on my laptop what I want to watch. On my TV remote I select Home, then scroll through the menu until I find Input sources. Next, I scroll through the various Input sources until I find the HDMI port where I connected the cable. Once selected whatever I have on my laptop now appears on the TV. Hope this helps.
