If you don't compare, you'll be happy with any cable. |

They are made with a flimsy wire stranded cable that more than likely will eventually short out at the plug end connection point and you will have to resolder and reinforce the joint. Once you do this, though, and do it right, it will last a long time. |

But to plug a guitar into an amp, you can use these. The price is right, and they are dependable, in my experience. (you have to treat them with respect...don't pull on them or yank them, or suspend stomp boxes from them, know what I mean?) Hosa is good, for a budget cable. You get what you pay for, but these are worth a try. Not for microphones though - that's when you almost always need XLR. Conner's answer is accurate, and better than this one. |

| Answer: | Yes, I use it that way. The 2 RCA plugs are connected to the output of my mixer and the jack plug goes into the line jack socket of my PC. That allows me to record on the PC software when I plug an instrument into the mixer input using another cable. The mixer modulates the output to the PC |

Large computers (desktops and towers) do not have the smallish mini phone jack. Laptop, notebook, and tablet computers usually do. I have no idea what a "ps4" is. Remember, the cable is MONO so it is not suitable for transmitting music audio. |
