Answer: The life of each tube is 30,000 hours, so you should not expect these to burn out for a very long time (if you used the speaker for 30 hours every week, it would last roughly 18 years). We do not have replacement tubes available.

Answer: There is an auto-off feature for wireless connectivity - the speaker will turn off after a few minutes of inactivity. For analog audio inputs, there is not an auto-sensing feature.

Answer: The 3" precision port has two flared ends. The outside diameter of the smaller (without mounting holes) is 5 and 1/4 inches. The larger (with the 4 screw holes for mounting) is 6 and 1/4 inches. And while we are at it, the length of the 3" tube is exactly 12 inches. So the total length of the tube and flared ends can be as long 18 inches.
