Question:	im trying to make my own test leads for different applications, will these work/fit with a voltmeter
Answer:	Depends. It should fit as the multimeters use standard banana plug socket innerds, but for years commercial test leads have no longer used bare plugs because of the hazards associated with accidental contact which would be shockingly dangerous if working with high voltage (yes, these meters are routinely used in high voltage electrical applications - my meter carries a CAT III rating for use with 1000V, CAT IV for 600 V). BUT, I mainly use my meter on ham radio stuff and sometimes on cars - all low voltage DC applications.I just ordered these to make a current (amperage) test rig with Anderson Power Pole sockets. Again, I stress that I am working with voltage running significantly less than 30V (sometimes 24 V systems in aviation or other automotive systems), but I will wrap the plug bodies in heat shrink insulation to minimize likelihood of contact.

Answer:	I use 12 gauge on my fronts and 14 on my surrounds with no issues. The 12 gauge was a little difficult to get wrapped back around and then screw down, but I really don't know of any banana plug that would we easier, without going to the kind where they use a screw to fasten. This is the easier, cleaner look in my opinion!

Answer:	As PCKIDZ replied, this is a two function connector.The banana plugs are pushed into the hole in the end.If you unscrew the barrel which is knurled, the smaller shaft is exposed, where you can slip on your spade lug and then tighten the knurled shaft to secure the lug.

Answer:	"Open Screw" type plug (side wire) allows for daisy chaining or stacking additional banana plugs to the back. This is desirable in DJ applications if you're running a speakers in parallel and if your amp can handle the low impedances. Closed Screw type has the wire at the back.

Answer:	Mine are absolutely NOT soldered (or anything else) securely. When I first got them I noticed the banana terminal would spin in the plug end. Initially I figured they must screw in, so I started trying to do so. They never got tighter. They evidently are in a lose collar, which should mean higher than necessary resistance and possible arcing. I hope the company will address this. Is it normal?

Answer:	Hi..Interesting question..These HIGH-GRADE cables do comes in different lengths, and would look great as a speaker connection..BUT NO, most likely NO..The ends of the 12AWG cables are designed of a specific fitting connector. The ends of these cables are a banana type connector. This end would be larger than you (push-in) wire type speaker connection. An easy fix might me to get some nice copper (stranded) probably 16 AWG to 18 AWG, strip the ends twist the strands in a tight wind, and put some solider on the ends..This is referred to as "tinning the wire" this will strengthen the end, for repeated use..if you know how to use "shrink wrap"..you could also use some shrink wrap to reinforce the sheath of the wire as well..This would look nice, and you could tell people how you built something... OR.. you could just twist the ends of the, attach it to the speakers and leave it alone..Good LuckMave

Answer:	They can’t legally state hdmi 2.1 because official certification for hdmi 2.1 hasn’t been released. But- the cables have to be legitimately 48 gbps which is one of the hdmi 2.1 standard and these cables are true 48gbps cables, which is for 4k 120 hz and higher 8K bandwidths. Normal high speed hdmi 2.0 cables usually cap at 18 gbps, those are good for up to 4k 60hz but no higher My ps5 wouldn’t pass through the receiver properly without 48gbps handshake. Once I switched out the old hdmi 2.0 cable for the cobalt monster 48gbps, everything was connecting beautifully

How to Install?

1. Unscrew the bottom piece of the banana plug.

2. Cut and strip the wire about 3/4".

3. Insert the wire through the bottom. End of wire will come out the other end about 1/4".

4. Spread and fan out wire over the end.

5. Cutting end of the wire with the correct length, only need about 1/8 -1/4".

6. Tighten the top of the banana plug. Make sure the banana tip is also screwed on tight.
