The cable is designed to transmit AUDIO from a stereo single port like that on a phone, or iPod to a device with RCA inputs, like a Audio/Visual Receiver, or the like. So if I wanted to listen to my iPod on my Stereo, I plug the cable into the ear phone jack on my iPod and connect the RCA jacks to my stereo on say the Aux input, then I can listen to my iPod on my Stereo. The maximum charging current that a normal Bluetooth headset can withstand is about 200 mA，but the maximum output current of a car charger is likely to reach 2A, so it is very likely that the battery life of your headset will be damaged or the battery will be burned out due to the high current.
