Answer:	Mine are 38 1/2" from the base. The base is about 1 1/2", making about 40" from the tabletop surface. If you fully extend them horizontally, have to add 2 x 38 1/2" plus the distance across to base of 3 1/2" for a distance of 80 1/2".Mhz does not apply, but knowing they rate frequency by the channel pickup of channels 2-13 should give you an idea of the range.

Answer:	I am not sure - I live in a big city and though my apartment is on a lower floor, I have not had any trouble getting reception. In fact, the picture is very clear, and I get many channels! It may not depend so much on being near a city as being near a tower that transmits signals. You should check to see which is the nearest tower.
Question:	Will i get a 58 miles away signal
Answer:	To know what stations you can get and what kind of antenna you need to get them, put in your address in antennaweb.org. That site will give you a color coded list of available stations for your address, how far away each tower is, degrees from center. When you click on each station, there will be a popup telling you what kind of antenna you'd need to get that station. 58 miles away is pretty far. It would be my guess you'd need an outside antenna for that distance. But it also depends on terrain between you and the towers, where your tv is in your house, if there's a window nearby, direction your tv room faces, the strength of the signal from each tower, and other factors. It's a system where you have to just try different things to see what works for your conditions. I use indoor antennas. I prefer NONamplified ones plugged into separate ampts, so I can remove the amp if I want. I get a lot of stations; all of my towers are less than 25 miles away. My tv room faces the direction of where the towers are, and there's a window 3 feet from my tv. I'm lucky. Urban settings are more likely to be that way.

Question:	I plugged into my tvs and nothing happened? I have a toshiba and samsung HDTV. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	Mine is hooked up to LG HDTV. Not where I can look right now, but look at the instructions. Do you need an HDMI cord? I am really not good with this stuff. Know I didn't need anything extra. Just connected directly into my tv, but think instructions did mention a HDMI connection. If your instructions don't work, you might just google how to connect a indoor antenna to your Toshiba and again to your samsung HDTV. Good luck. I am totally inept at this stuff, so have every belief you can do it too!
Question:	For multiple tv's in your home, do you need one for each tv
Answer:	The antennas are inexpensive but work very well (see review). What I did was hook two antennas to each TV. I position one antenna north/south, the other east/west. Much better reception & you receive more channels (& they don't "drop out" very often. Here's what you do:1) purchase two attennas for each TV2) purchase the Channel Plus 2512 DC & IR Passing 2 Way Splitter/Combiner for each TV3) purchase the Monoprice 3ft. RG6 Coaxial Cable for each TV. Both of the above are sold @ Amazon.

Answer:	There is no such thing as a "digital antenna" - the terminology is just a marketing term. All digital signals are transmitted over the air on the UHF frequency band, which is the same band that the old analog channels 14 through 68 used to be transmitted on. So to pick up a digital signal all you really need is a UHF antenna, which is the smaller rectangular loop in this antenna. Question:	I plugged into my tvs and nothing happened? I have a toshiba and samsung HDTV. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	Mine is hooked up to LG HDTV. Not where I can look right now, but look at the instructions. Do you need an HDMI cord? I am really not good with this stuff. Know I didn't need anything extra. Just connected directly into my tv, but think instructions did mention a HDMI connection. If your instructions don't work, you might just google how to connect a indoor antenna to your Toshiba and again to your samsung HDTV. Good luck. I am totally inept at this stuff, so have every belief you can do it too!

Answer:	The antennas are inexpensive but work very well (see review). What I did was hook two antennas to each TV. I position one antenna north/south, the other east/west. Much better reception & you receive more channels (& they don't "drop out" very often. Here's what you do:1) purchase two attennas for each TV2) purchase the Channel Plus 2512 DC & IR Passing 2 Way Splitter/Combiner for each TV3) purchase the Monoprice 3ft. RG6 Coaxial Cable for each TV. Both of the above are sold @ Amazon.

Answer:	There is no such thing as a "digital antenna" - the terminology is just a marketing term. All digital signals are transmitted over the air on the UHF frequency band, which is the same band that the old analog channels 14 through 68 used to be transmitted on. So to pick up a digital signal all you really need is a UHF antenna, which is the smaller rectangular loop in this antenna. With this antenna, I am able to pick up over 100 digital channels at my house.

Answer:	No, you don't have to buy anything else to make it work. It is really lightweight & does a fantastic job on its own. I have mine hanging on just a pushpin behind the television, you don't even know it's there! It's that simple.

Answer:	I am not sure - I live in a big city and though my apartment is on a lower floor, I have not had any trouble getting reception. In fact, the picture is very clear, and I get many channels! It may not depend so much on being near a city as being near a tower that transmits signals. You should check to see which is the nearest tower.
Question:	Will i get a 58 miles away signal
Answer:	To know what stations you can get and what kind of antenna you need to get them, put in your address in antennaweb.org. That site will give you a color coded list of available stations for your address, how far away each tower is, degrees from center. When you click on each station, there will be a popup telling you what kind of antenna you'd need to get that station. 58 miles away is pretty far. It would be my guess you'd need an outside antenna for that distance. But it also depends on terrain between you and the towers, where your tv is in your house, if there's a window nearby, direction your tv room faces, the strength of the signal from each tower, and other factors. It's a system where you have to just try different things to see what works for your conditions. I use indoor antennas. I prefer NONamplified ones plugged into separate ampts, so I can remove the amp if I want. I get a lot of stations; all of my towers are less than 25 miles away. My tv room faces the direction of where the towers are, and there's a window 3 feet from my tv. I'm lucky. Urban settings are more likely to be that way.

Answer:	It is a heavy duty u-shaped steel "wire" that props the device about 4" high on one end. You have the option of using the brace, laying the antenna flat, or hanging it on the wall.

Answer:	It comes with a detachable base. You hang the antenna on the wall, set it up on a table using the base or even lay it flat on a table. I found my best reception using the base.
Question:	what is the mile range of the antenna
Answer:	I just bought this antenna and it's rated up to 60 miles. How well it works all depends on the area you live in.
Question:	do you know the difference between this model and the 1650F
Answer:	The unit is a little larger than the 1650F and seems to pull in the signal a little stronger. Can't say if it is worth the difference in cost. Overall though I am satisfied with both. I've had less fade out with the 1750F than the 1650F. But as mentioned in my review this is a poor reception area.

Answer:	I don't think so. I have not been able to receive any cable channels - I get all the network channels and a few channels that are not even on cable - a lot of "retro" channels - I get about 30 channels

Answer:	It depends on how good your eyes are. The numbers are 1 1/2 inches tall. I think 15 feet away would be fine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I think they advertise up to 40 miles. We are on the east side of our city and get a couple outlaying stations via MapQuest/MSN Maps at least 29 miles away. One sub-channel we get is closer but fades on/off and we found it's a lower powered station. I think its definitely a good antenna but it would be nice if it was a bit more amplified to boost these fringe/low powered stations.

Answer:	I have mine installed in the middle of a room with Block walls on 3 sides( I doo have a window in this room). I would imagine the closer you are to a window the better, but doubt that it is necessary. I think the proximity of the stations has more to do with the quality of reception. Check out this website for station signal strenghts in your zip code http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/dtvmaps/. I was able to pick up most all of the stations in the strong and moderate categories. The stong channels appeared with good quality, those in the moderate category range from very good to barely acceptable. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Not sure. I have mine placed on a wall near a window, but when I try it on the window itself I get worse reception.

Answer:	Carol-Don't listen to Ben Houston...If your VCR has a NTSC Tuner, which it more than likely does if you have been operating your channels through the VCR, then you will be fine. Just connect the RCA ANT1650R Antenna to the "Antenna In" input on the VCR. Then, you will need another coaxial cable, to take that cable and connect it to the "Antenna Out" on the back of the VCR and run the cable to "Antenna In" input on the TV.However, I don't know your location. Therefore, the quality of the Antenna can vary and it is why I greatly emphasis that you go to the website of "Antenna Web" and check the stations that you should be able to receive with an over-the-air antenna by just simply entering your address. Remember the amplifier on the antenna 'boosts' or 'increases' the signal power of the antenna and thus allowing you to reach new channels and increase the signal strength of existing channels you are already accustom to with your current antenna. NOT what Ben Houston claims. In my metropolitan area I receive up to 24 channels (including all the locals of FOX, NBC, ABC and CBS) along with their affiliate stations. But, if I take the amplifier off the antenna the signal drops significantly. Thus, proving what I said earlier about the amplifier improving the antenna's strength to receive more stations and increase your current stations.That antenna has not disappointed me and I have purchased three for myself!

Answer:	Becky,If your television has a "Coaxial" connector on the back labeled "Antenna input" or "Antenna in" or some variant of that then yes, it should interface fine. You also have to be in an area that is close enough to receive TV stations. I had mine hooked up with the TV stations about 60 miles away and had pretty good reception. I have since moved to an area that is about 140 miles from a transmitter and can't receive anything. If you are in a big city area, you are most likely close enough to get pretty decent reception.

Answer:	Mine is hooked up to LG HDTV. Not where I can look right now, but look at the instructions. Do you need an HDMI cord? I am really not good with this stuff. Know I didn't need anything extra. Just connected directly into my tv, but think instructions did mention a HDMI connection. If your instructions don't work, you might just google how to connect a indoor antenna to your Toshiba and again to your samsung HDTV. Good luck. I am totally inept at this stuff, so have every belief you can do it too!

Answer:	The antennas are inexpensive but work very well (see review). What I did was hook two antennas to each TV. I position one antenna north/south, the other east/west. Much better reception & you receive more channels (& they don't "drop out" very often. Here's what you do:1) purchase two attennas for each TV2) purchase the Channel Plus 2512 DC & IR Passing 2 Way Splitter/Combiner for each TV3) purchase the Monoprice 3ft. RG6 Coaxial Cable for each TV. Both of the above are sold @ Amazon.

Answer:	There is no such thing as a "digital antenna" - the terminology is just a marketing term. All digital signals are transmitted over the air on the UHF frequency band, which is the same band that the old analog channels 14 through 68 used to be transmitted on. So to pick up a digital signal all you really need is a UHF antenna, which is the smaller rectangular loop in this antenna. With this antenna, I am able to pick up over 100 digital channels at my house.
