Answer:	The antenna will work for receiving OTA (over the air) TV channels in the local viewing area. Note that it will not pick up cable or satellite TV stations. The antenna is not amplified (using a power source), so it might not be able to receive weak and low power TV stations.

Answer:	I like the Phillips SDV2210/17 but any antenna that has the RF connector and is for UHF/VHF HDTV would work but it all depends on your distance from the broadcast towers and the weather if it clear skies your ok but storms or cloudy weather you might not get all your channels. Hook up the antenna and use the auto channel set up in your TV when the weather is clear and you'll be set.

Answer:	This antenna has no transformer. It has a coaxial cable with a connector that is screwed into the TV port that is present on the back of digital TVs. There are no instructions. You just screw the connector of the antenna into the TV connector on the back side of the TV. This is also the same port on the TV where a cable box would be screwed into the set.Note that this is NOT an amplified antenna, so there is no power transformer to be connected to the antenna to boost the signal.

Answer:	If you are installing to the dish antenna mount or close by, then you can use the same ground that the dish is using. There are splitters available where you can feed the VHF/UHF antenna with the same coax cable that the dish uses.
