I put mine low against my house and got 28 channels when I moved it up over my house I cot 39. You can point the antenna where you want it then turn it for other channels. Just try and find what works for you.

Answer:	I have an existing DirecTV coax cable installed from about 8 years ago which went from the dish antenna to inside my house. Answer:	It will probably depend upon where your house is situated, on top of a hill, or blocked by the hills. Also how far are you from the nearest metro areas with OTA broadcast stations. I live in CNY about 15 miles SW of Syracuse. It's a hilly area and I'm on a hill with a valley and another hill between my house and Syr. I easily get all the Syr OTA stations. I also get stations from Rochester, Utica and Watertown with this antenna. What I can't address is the effect of being situated in a heavily treed area. My advice would be to get the antenna and the separate mounting pole and test it at your house. If it doesn't work, return it.

Answer:	No you definitely do not need to hang it on the window. I placed mine behind my TV. It is more important to have it pointed the correct direction toward the TV antenna that is putting out the signal you are trying to pick up. There are a few good antenna signal websites that show you what way to point your antenna. I used the compass on my phone to see which direction was 270 degrees. That was the direction I needed to point the antenna to pick up the best signals. It works awesome!
Question:	I live in rural area far away from the tower about 90miles, will it help me
Answer:	You want to see how many miles the closest receiver is. You want the one as close to that as possible. You don't want to "overshoot" the signal by a lot or it will be looking for one further away and the reception won't be as good. If it's 15 miles you want a 25 mile. If it's 35 miles you want a 50 mile, etc.
