Answer:	The AR110LKVV can be connected to a humidity sensing wall switch, but you will need two switches for this unit - - one for fan (humidity sensor) and one for the light (on/off). If you are just trying to use one switch, once the humidity drops below the setpoint, they will not have the UV light working. The UV light probably wouldn't come on at all since the regular LED comes on first, then switches over to UV after 1 hour. We would only recommend the humidity sensing switch be used on the fan.

Answer:	There is a usb dongle that plugs into the back of the satellite box and the antenna cable screws into it. However the last thing that satellite providers want is you receiving free tv and not all boxes support this connection.
Question:	My house sits below a hill which is difficult to get line of sight to the tv towers. Will this unit take care of getting all the channels
Answer:	You don't have to have line of sight to towers. The antenna has a radius of 100 miles. one thing to take into consideration is your TV tuner. Some are better than others. I have a smart TV and it doesn't work as well as the other TV's I have. Also depends on how many TV's you have on the antenna. I would try to limit them to no more than 2 or three at most.

Answer:	the antenna only comes only one size amplifier. There are a couple of options, 1) it is possible to install an antenna preamplifier between the the power inducer and the TV 2) install an amplifier or amplifier splitter in the line. >>>>> but be careful to much amplification can distort the signal. also when there is no signal nothing one cannot amplify nothing. i.e. when one multiplies 0 with 100 what do you get?

The power insert has a surge/short detection so if you connect a cable to the power insert that has a short, or if there is a splitter on that line that is not a LAVA splitter, the light on the power insert will flash once, or turn off.

You can disconnect the power insert from everything completely, then only connect it to power, and the light should come back on if there is nothing connected to it.

Answer:	When I bought this item all was needed to attach it to my tv was a coaxe cable which came with the unit. It simply installs into the tv from the cable port. Unfortunately this product seems to work well for some people and not well for others. It worked very well for the first few months of owning it but we quickly replaced it with a diffrent type of indoor receiver . Personally I'd suggest to buy a unit from Moho.com they have many stiles to choose from and there product is by far better with little need to find an ideal location it's made in the US and comes with a year long garinty from the manufacture

Answer:	I think it will work OK in an attic. You may need to add a signal booster of some type if you need a long cable. When I tried it on my roof, I needed to use a long coaxial cable, and felt there was signal loss.

Answer:	I live about 50 - 60 miles from major market broadcast towers and I get 15 ( all major networks + extras ) channels with antenna indoors at my window. Good reception in HD. Connecting More Than One Television

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2605 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG6 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2605 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG6 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

Answer:	I wouldn't count on it. lol. It works great. I used it for my LED stick figure costume last halloween. I tried tearing it apart. Its a glob of silicon with raw caps and coils just thrown inside. I don't recall even seeing a pcb. I had it strapped to my body. Question:	Do you have live tech support if i have a problem
Answer:	You would run the HDMI ARC out of your TV to this unit, not from the cable box. Most cable boxes only have HDMI out and not an HDMI ARC.
Question:	How does wind efect reception
Answer:	This ARC switch is used if your TV has an HDMI Arc input/output and your stereo amplifier does not have and HDMI ARC input. You run the HDMI cable out of your TV to this device, then RCA cables to your amplifier. You would probably place this unit near your stereo amplifier. The only downside to this device is the fact you have to manually switch it on and off by pressing the button on the side.

Question:	My lava 8008 antenna has a power booster. If I use this splitter do I use both power boosters or would the second booster cause a confict
Answer:	No. There are amateur radio bands in the advertised pass-thru range (5-695MHz) of this filter. It won't even filter out all LTE frequencies (i.e. T-Mobile band 71, 600MHz). If there is a problem on your cable line, you need to inspect the cable for breaks, as coax is well-shielded.

Answer:	Yes, it not only did that but got me more channels as well. Some of the stations I were getting would be in and out and pixilated on and off and I blamed it on the wind or rain. Or low power level of that further away station. Apparently nine of this was correct. A friend suggested this and problem solved. I can’t guarantee that is your problem but I am pleased with this filter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG59 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

2020 UPDATE: The FCC and TV stations are in the midst of a "channel re-pack" where they are shifting the frequencies of many TV stations.

The re-pack is scheduled to continue through mid-2020.
