Connecting More Than One Television

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2605 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG6 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

Answer:	Don't have a Roku stick but do have smart tv that picks up Roku. Sorry I'm not more help, Antenna does work very well for all viewing needs.
Question:	I am 16 miles from the towers will the amplifier help? Can't get antenna to window
Answer:	The amplifier should help. Also if you can mount it high in your room, like near the ceiling. Just play with it with and without the amplifier. Sometimes it takes a day or two for it to aclimate. Mine did not work well for the 1st day or two but by day three I went from 20 to almost 40 channels. I am a little closer to my tower though. Also, for some reasons, Sunday is the best day to scan for channels. hope that helps..

Answer:	There's plastic in it (the screws) so that sets off prop 65. The Plastic itself is safe but in the manufacturing some things are used that aren't. Prop 65 is waay too vast to be useful.

Answer:	In an independent test done last year, the Black Berkey filter elements with the PF-2 attachments filtered out the following:Uranium: 100%Lead: 100%Mercury: 99.8%Cesium: 98.6%Aluminum: 86.6%Copper: 100%Arsenic: 100%Strontium: 100%Cadmium: 100%The test they performed in this case was only for heavy metals, so it of course filters out much more than just these things, as shown in other tests. Answer:	It depends on how much water you filter & how many filters you use (2 or 4). Also, normal city water varies due to local water hardness. We fill up the filter 1 to 2 times per day (usually twice) with 4 & change them every 6 months, but if we didn't have kids, our filters would probably last us about twice as long. However, this is still cheaper than other filtering methods we've used & does a much better job.

Connecting More Than One Television

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2605 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter (not included), you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG6 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

2020 UPDATE: The FCC and TV stations are in the midst of a "channel re-pack" where they are shifting the frequencies of many TV stations.

Question:	Live in hill country that is heavily tree'd southern tier of NY, anyone with any experience
Answer:	It will probably depend upon where your house is situated, on top of a hill, or blocked by the hills. Also how far are you from the nearest metro areas with OTA broadcast stations. I live in CNY about 15 miles SW of Syracuse. It's a hilly area and I'm on a hill with a valley and another hill between my house and Syr. I easily get all the Syr OTA stations. I also get stations from Rochester, Utica and Watertown with this antenna. What I can't address is the effect of being situated in a heavily treed area. My advice would be to get the antenna and the separate mounting pole and test it at your house. If it doesn't work, return it.

Answer:	You would run the HDMI ARC out of your TV to this unit, not from the cable box. Most cable boxes only have HDMI out and not an HDMI ARC.

Answer:	This ARC switch is used if your TV has an HDMI Arc input/output and your stereo amplifier does not have and HDMI ARC input. You run the HDMI cable out of your TV to this device, then RCA cables to your amplifier. You would probably place this unit near your stereo amplifier. The only downside to this device is the fact you have to manually switch it on and off by pressing the button on the side.

Connecting More Than One Television

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2605 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG6 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

2020 UPDATE: The FCC and TV stations are in the midst of a "channel re-pack" where they are shifting the frequencies of many TV stations.

The re-pack is scheduled to continue through mid-2020.
