Connecting More Than One Television

There are 2 ways you can setup your HD-2805 for use with multiple TVs depending on how much coax cable you need and if you have the LAVA Splitter.

1. You can only use a maximum of 50 ft of RG6 coax cable from the Antenna to the Control Box and up to 50 ft of coax from the control box to each TV as needed if you connect your splitter directly after the control box.
2. If you have the LAVA HDS12 Splitter, you can put it between the antenna and control box as shown above using a total of 50 ft or less of RG59 coax cable from the antenna, through the splitter, to the control box.

Run The Auto-Scan or Auto-Program in your TV menu FIRST thing after install

What do I do when I see a “NO SIGNAL” message on one or more channels? Go over the setup instructions again. Make sure the antenna is powering on, it is pointed in the right direction, and you run the Channel Search on your TV in the menu after you install and connect the antenna. If you are unsure how to run the scan, refer to your TV instruction manual.

2020 UPDATE: The FCC and TV stations are in the midst of a "channel re-pack" where they are shifting the frequencies of many TV stations.

The re-pack is scheduled to continue through mid-2020.

Several factors can limit reception range at your location. Some of these are mountainous and hilly terrain, obstructions in the signal path and metal construction materials. Position your antenna towards the broadcast towers for best performance.

Answer:	Hi have about 100 feet cable run from the antenna in my attic above the second floor down to HD Homerun wireless tuner in a first floor closet. I added a Wineguard LNA-200 powered signal booster in the cable run near (about 5 feet from) the antenna. Signal is crystal clear.

TV Connections Guide

• Connect the antenna top to the antenna input of the control box using any coaxial cable.
• Plug the control box power supply into the wall. The control box is the device that you point your remote control at to make the antenna rotate. The control box is usually installed next to your TV set.
• Connect the control box to your digital TV or converter box if needed. Remember, only old style analog TVs need a converter box.
• Scan for available antenna channels using the add channels option on your TV or converter box.

How to Scan Channel?

• Mount the antenna on your rooftop for optimal performance.
• Consult related instruction manual to SCAN the Channels FIRST if you use a digital converter box
• Find the setting option on TV menu. Set up the signal source to AIR/Antenna.
• After you set up the signal source, go to Channel Scan or Channel Manage to scan the digital channels.
