That was the direction I needed to point the antenna to pick up the best signals. It works awesome!

Answer:	It will probably depend upon where your house is situated, on top of a hill, or blocked by the hills. Also how far are you from the nearest metro areas with OTA broadcast stations. I live in CNY about 15 miles SW of Syracuse. It's a hilly area and I'm on a hill with a valley and another hill between my house and Syr. I easily get all the Syr OTA stations. I also get stations from Rochester, Utica and Watertown with this antenna. What I can't address is the effect of being situated in a heavily treed area. My advice would be to get the antenna and the separate mounting pole and test it at your house. If it doesn't work, return it.

Question:	What are the actual dimensions of the antennae, and is one side black and the other white
Answer:	17 inches by 8-1/2 inches. Both sides are black.
Question:	can the signal be split
Answer:	I have this powering two TVs in the house. I connected it to the outside of my house where Comcast comes in to the house and used the existing cabling run in the house.
Question:	Can old dish wiring be used? We live in a mountain area and we live in valley is this the best for us. thanks
Answer:	I do not know about dish wiring. I do not think it would work. It is a cord that connects from the antennae to the back of tv. Not long enough maybe.
Question:	Does it need to be connected to a power outlet all the time
Answer:	Dear Customer, It is recommended to power the amplifier as it can boost the signal in your area. You can power the Amplifier with the USB Cable either with the Optional USB Power Source Or from the back of the TV. Hope this helps. Amy Service Team
