Answer:	Yes, it can be mounted on a vertical surface. You will need to supply your own hardware. If you are looking to attach it to an existing metal fence pole, most of them are 3" in diameter. The u-bolt supplied is not wide enough. You can buy a 3" pipe clamp/strap from the local hardware store for less that $2 that will work. That is how I have mine mounted.

Question:	Will this work on an older set that is not HD
Answer:	Yes it will work fine. The antenna itself just gathers the signal and passes it along to your television. The antenna doesn't "see" any difference between an old analog signal and a newer digital HD signal. Although these days your older TV will need some kind of converter to handle the digital over-the-air signal. At least in the US, the older analog over-the-air broadcasting ended some years ago.

Answer:	It depends on your actual distance from the stations. Having gotten the 50, it roughly doubles my effective distance from the stations. The company has a warranty for exactly your issue. Perhaps they could do a warranty swap of your 25 for a 50 for a small fee. Given your investment already, it could be a feasible solution.

Answer:	Update, April 2018. Newer design Clearstream Eclipse is sig better & just a little pricer, If passive works best for you. I live semi-rural 25miles West of Detriot. Have tried many major brand indoor antennas, Mohu Leaf, Wineguard, AmazonBasics, 1byOne, etc. After fresh channel scan, Eclipse took me from 18 channels (22 depending on weather & season) to very clear 28 channels!

Answer:	I have had this 2 years now and love it. I found hooking it up to power BEFORE the splitter coming into the house made all the difference. Hooking the power adapter inside house right before hooking into tv did not well at all. I would get 1 channel. With power adapter outside before my house splitter I pick up 60 channels.

Answer:	The antenna connects to the tv using the same type of connection as a cable wire, so a usb is not needed. If you are replacing cable with the antenna, you can actually use the cable wiring in your house to connect all of your tv's to one antenna. Put the antenna in the room at the highest point in the house. Get a 2 way cable splitter. One end goes to the tv in that room. The other end connects to the existing cable wire. Follow the existing cable wire to your basement or wherever the cable comes in to the house. Get a 5 way splitter (for up to 4 tv's). Connect the cable coming from the room with the antenna to the input of the 5 way splitter. Connect all of your other tv cables to the outputs of the 5 way splitter. You will then just need to change each tv to use air instead of cable. Be sure to buy quality splitters with gold ends.

Answer:	Like most engineering questions, the short answer is, "It depends". The longer answer is, probably not very well. In general, the higher above the ground you can get any antenna, the better it works. And the closer you are to the broadcaster, the better. So in a suburban or urban area, not too many miles from the broadcast antenna, it might work well enough. But certainly don't expect better than maybe 10 or 12 mile range in a basement. If you can get it against a window, it might be better.

It did not give me a better signal than a suitably placed high-quality conventional rabbit-ears antenna.

Question:	The stickers don't work well and it falls off the wall. Can a small nail be driven through the top center to hang it on the wall
Answer:	I would not put a nail into it, I do not know if you can or not, what I would do is add just enough superglue to make the tape sticky enough on both sides to hold the antenna into place or put two nails into the wall sticking out far enough you can put the bottom of the antenna on the nails leaning backwards to balance itself to stay.

Question:	Does it HAVE to be put in a window
Answer:	Being by an outside wall, particularly towards the broadcast tower, would probably be the best, but the optimum location certainly varies from home to home, depending on their structure and their environment. I am not certain if windows are even pertinent, especially if they are covered with metallic screens, frames, or blinds.
Question:	Has anyone installed this in a home or other building with a standing seam (steel) roof? Considering purchase, but house has commercial steel roof
Answer:	If mounting OUTSIDE the house, a steel roof could conceivably bounce signals around. However, moving the antenna up/down should lessen or eliminate the problem. On the other hand, if you want to mount it in the attic, forget about it. Mine is in the attic shooting through asphalt shingles and I notice a difference when they're wet or snow-covered.
