I have had several of these folio’s, when they are working they are fabulous, . I have tried all the other keyboard folios & this is 1000 times better than any of the others, BUT the hinges eventually break, despite using it with extreme care, they break without warning. If you buy the product direct from zagg, they will replace it when it breaks, otherwise, its not their problem. I had 3 replacements last year (all with broken hinges ) the latest one has lasted since September 2018. Its just a matter of time til it breaks too. When it breaks I will buy another one, they are that good. |

You will likely still drop in dead spots where there is no cell tower strength. I think it creates a slightly stronger signal when you’re traveling in cell range. If there is no cell service, there isn’t much you can do. |

I'm a little unclear on how this "passive boosting" would work at all, but assuming there is some truth to the claim, all antennas designed to pass a signal through glass do so by conductivity loops. Essentially, there are wire coils in the plate outside the glass, and wire coils in the plate inside the glass. When a signal goes through them, it is converted into magnetic impulses, which then reach the coils in the other plate, and they are converted back to electricity so that the antenna can convert the signal to radio waves.The coils must be a very specific distance apart, and cannot have any metal interference. Tinted windows will screw them up. Replacement double-sided foam tape will screw them up, either due to the difference in thickness, or the difference in metal.Antennas designed to couple through automotive glass will work only with thicknesses resembling automotive glass. Most modern windows are made of double-pane glass, and can be significantly thicker. If you have a single-pane window in your home or office, and it is about as thick as auto glass, you might get some benefits, if the product provides actual benefits. |

| Answer: | I personally don't like the fiberglass antennas they seem to brake Easey .. trees, freezing rain etc.... the wilsons will last a long time I had one on a truck for over 800,000 before I finally broke it... dual wips will hear better than a single Wilson but the Wilson will get out farther |

| Answer: | I have the BC23A Uniden Bearcat External Speaker. First, the speaker is an amplified speaker, so it requires a 12 volt DC power source. You can plug it into a 12 volt accessory outlet in a vehicle, or I use a 12 volt regulated power converter in my house. Second, the speaker has a mini stereo plug, so I do not know how you would plug it into a phone. There is no microphone in the speaker, so you would not be able to use it like a hands free device for your phone. It is intended to be an amplified external speaker for a radio or scanner. I use it with my Portable Pro-96 Digital Trunking scanner (although I had to use a stereo to mono plug adapter) and it works great. It gives me the extra volume I need to hear the scanner outside of the room, or above the noise in a moving vehicle. I am very pleased with the speaker for my intended use. |
