Answer:	No, if when you say an "ethernet powered" cable you meant a cable that is already connected on one side to a device that provides power or POE device. One quick way to tell if the cable provides POE is to connect it to the camera, and if the camera powers on, then you do not need the POE adapter.

Answer:	A POE adapter works by plugging into a 120volt AC outlet. Once plugged in it turns 120v AC to 12volt DC over the Ethernet cable and powers up the ring device. I wouldn’t buy this product my choice would be new router.

Answer:	We just installed one at our church. It's a fairly wide angle lens. I really like the product. I just pulled ours up and did a screen capture of the view. Sides of the picture tend to be s little rounded due to the wide angle lens. Also, ours is darker than I would have liked when the sun is really bright outside and you get more of a silhouette than a color image with a really bright background. We don't have a light to illuminate the view though, so this might be a non-issue if you had a porch light. Tied ours into an existing mag lock and we can open the door from the ap - which was our primary goal. I've emailed tech support twice and they respond quickly and we're able to answer both of my questions, so I'd give the support an A.

Answer:	The biggest problem I have is how long a transaction takes. For instance: some one rings the bell, I pull out my phone, I unlock it, I unlock it again, I wait around 5 seconds for the doorbell app to open and connect, I hit the answer button. By now the person has assumed this isn't working and is texting me that they're at my door. Also, my street is very noisy and most people can't hear the speaker over the traffic noise.
