Answer:	Since it uses two 1.5 volt batteries in series, it is clear that it runs on 3 volts. If it works with rechargeables, then it will work on as little as 2.5 volts. Any adapter with the right size connector, AND THE CORRECT TIP POLARITY, that puts out the correct voltage, will work. If you get the reverse tip polarity, it either won't work with that adapter, or it will fry the radio.

Answer:	IMHO... Best sounding would be Tecsun PL880 but, at an expense. Near excellent performer in all categories (reception & price included) and heir apparent to the GE SuperRadios, would be the CCRadio EP. Its successor, CCRadio EP Pro, may go it one better with DSP processing, if... the kinks have been worked out as promised. CCRadio 2E takes the EP to full digital but, at an expense. The Eton/Grundig Executive Satellit is the most capable, bang for buck, good reception and not bad sounding. The CCRadio Skywave SSB has oustanding reception and WB/WX, at an expense. Honorable mention to the Sangean HDR-14, with outstanding AM/FM (both SD & HD radio) reception and, sound ported thru earphones or powered speakers yields the HD radio quality experience.

Answer:	Read some posts that said they did. This from the co.'s FAQ section: Which Pilot pens are water resistant and/or water-proof? While many of our inks are highly water-resistant and won’t easily smear, none of our pens are 100% water-proof on every surface. Permanent markers are clearly the most water-resistant, followed by Ball Point pens and advanced ink Ball Point pens because the ink is oil-based. Gel ink, which is found in our G2 and other gel lines, contain water in its base but is still water-resistant, while Rolling Ball ink is the least water-resistant. Hope that helps!
