13 best state quarters
State quarters are a series of commemorative quarters issued by the United States Mint as part of the 50 State Quarters Program. This program, which ran from 1999 to 2008, aimed to honor each of the 50 U.S. states by featuring a unique design on the reverse side of the quarters. State quarters are related to coin sets, collectible currencies, and collectibles fine art because they are highly sought-after by coin collectors and enthusiasts.
Here are some key points about state quarters:
50 State Quarters Program: The program was authorized by the United States Congress in 1997 and began in 1999. It commemorated each of the 50 states in the order in which they joined the Union.
Designs: The most distinctive feature of state quarters is their reverse (tails) side, which features a design emblematic of the state being honored. Each state had a design selection process that involved input from the state's governor, citizens, and artists.
Release Schedule: The state quarters were released in the order in which the states became part of the Union. For example, Delaware was the first state, so its quarter was released in 1999, while Hawaii, the last state, had its quarter released in 2008.
Collectibility: State quarters quickly gained popularity among coin collectors and the general public due to their unique designs and the excitement of collecting a piece of American history. Many people collected entire sets.
Special Mint Releases: In addition to the regular circulation quarters, the U.S. Mint also issued collector versions, such as proof sets and silver proof sets, which featured specially struck coins with a higher level of detail and quality.
Errors and Varieties: Collectors also look for errors and varieties within the state quarter series, such as double die coins or coins with minting mistakes, which can be quite valuable.
Albums and Holders: To facilitate collecting, special albums and holders were created to house and display the state quarters. These often included slots for each state, allowing collectors to organize their sets.
Legacy: The State Quarters Program was a significant success for the U.S. Mint, introducing many people to coin collecting. It paved the way for subsequent coin programs featuring different themes and designs.
Educational Value: Beyond their collectible value, state quarters also served an educational purpose by highlighting historical and cultural aspects of each state.
In summary, state quarters are a series of commemorative quarters issued by the U.S. Mint as part of the 50 State Quarters Program. They are highly collectible and have contributed to the popularity of coin collecting as a hobby. Each state quarter features a unique design representing the honored state's history and culture, making them both historically and artistically significant in the world of collectibles.

User questions & answers
Question: | Do you have just the map to sell |
Answer: | It works on mine. |
Question: | What mint are the quartets from? "P or "D" or a mix of each |
Answer: | I bought this for the uv-5r witch mine is 7.4v to run, it says it on the back of the radio(not the battery packs) using 6 brand new 1.2v rechargable batteries won't even turn it on, since 6 batteries is 7.2v with rechargables, you have to use regular 1.5v batteries. |
Question: | Can it fly |
Answer: | Charlene,At first I was going to ask you if your sure it's a UV-5RTP but I looked it up on Amazon first and there is such a model. Yes, I strongly feel like the battery holder will fit. I always trial fit my battery holders and if they seem to be too tight I use a diamond coated fingernail file, course side, to smooth off the 'sharp' edges that go up into the radio. A careful trial and error fiting will pay off nicely in a smooth fit and the smooth click of the battery retainer. I have bought six of these battery holders and they fit the following radios I have, UV-5R+, BF-F8HP, UV-5X3. One other word of caution, you need to use some silicone caulking to insulate the center 'Bus Bar' at the top in the middle, not only does it insulate but it acts as an adhesive to keep the bus bar from working loose. Some on here have commented on how the bus bar can work it's way out of the groove and cause a short possibly starting a fire and or melting the case. I believe some have even posted pictures of the area that needs treating. I have done all of mine and sleep soundly. I think the pics are in the customer reviews of the battery holders.James |
Question: | which of the two mints? Or is that a mix of P’s and D’s |
Answer: | Everyone slow down, this Q/A section covers FOUR products . So for "BL-5" and "BL 5L" ("extended") your stock UV5R or BFHP charger you can charge those two types with battery on radio or off radio. Additionally you can also charge the "BL-5L" with a separate cable, including a special USB that has a voltage step up circuit. Now there are also another two other devices also listed here are a "battery eliminator" with cig plug adapter which has nothing to recharge so the issue is moot, and; the BL-5-AA, which uses AA batteries you put inside. You can put in regular alkaline AA like Duracell in there, or rechargeable AA (like rechargeable lithum, or if you are living back in the 20th century, NiMH or nicad) , but you can NOT charge your AA rechargeable lithium, nimh or nicad with Beofeng's chargers inside of that BL-5 Eliminator. - BL-5: Charges in standard uv5r Baofeng Charger "CH-5" while in radio or out of radio - BL-5L aka 3800 Extended: same as above and also with USB cable (there are several USB cables check you get the right one) - BL-5-AA: You can use non rechargeable AA or rechargeable AA, but you can NOT charge batteries while inside this BL-5-AA - BL-5-Eliminator: It has no battery, and obviously not an issue of charging. So guys and gals, with Amazon when you see these kind of listing for several products the QA, and for that matter the reviews, may be for any given one and not have correct info for the others. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it have the picture of the state coin for each hole |
Answer: | It includes the speaker, enclosure, amp and a few feet of wiring. It’s a great setup! |
Question: | Is the state book for 2010 to 2021 years quarters |
Answer: | I have mine mounted in the rear well (under the passenger seat of my EZGO) (2+2 configuration).. If by backseat of a club car you are referring to a 6 passenger or 4 passenger configuration (stretch) then I can not answer that question for you. In a 2+2 configuration - I did not mount mine to the seat deck (upside down) but it is mounted in the well and is paired with a Wet Sounds Stealth 10 for awesome sound. This unit will NOT produce cart shaking bass. It produces just the right amount of bass to let you know it is there (and yes you can feel the bass as you are sitting in the cart). |
Question: | Did anyone else receive two of the same map instead of one of each |
Answer: | No RCA input it only has a 3.5 mm female input. It is 12V DC powered. It has a remote on wire so other things can turn it on. |
Question: | Is there a difference between this and hardcover book sold individually |
Answer: | Mine is a 6 inch sub I installed on my golf cart we keep athe lake. Works great with 4 ft sound bar. They make a 10 inch sub as sell. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I see 3 lines of printing on each state. What does it say for each state? It's too small to view on-line |
Answer: | Peeling citrus and melons is sort of a necessity because the peel will make the juice not so tasty. This juicer juices super fast and a whole apple will zip through in a second. You are limited by the opening which is approximately 3" across so anything larger will need to be cut. It does spit out the seeds into the pulp collector so that is one plus for you. If you wish to juice greens or grass, this is not the most efficient juicer but it can be done by rolling them into a ball. I also find that it works even better if you core an apple and stick the ball inside of the apple. Hope that helps. |
Question: | can anyone give any tips for how to insert the quarters? just got this for my son and we're having trouble figuring out how to remove the state seals |
Answer: | Yes, I use it in my boat as a sub with 4 speakers. |
Question: | How many holes does it have in total |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Does it comes with the coins |
Answer: | Yes |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this set come in the paper folder from the US mint that has the descriptions of the parks on it |
Answer: | It is not too quiet. You also lose some of the items processed to the discarded side. I just took a spoon and ate that portion. |
Question: | how are the shipped -- loose, sepperated, in plastic bags, in air tight capsel |
Answer: | I can't say for sure, but yes it looks exactly like one of the ones shown on that movie. I know that Joe Cross has partnered with Breville and recommends their products. It is a nice machine. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Why is this item priced so much more than the tri fold State Quarters folder that holds more coins |
Answer: | Yes, but I can not recommend this item. I was not able to receive weather Radio broadcasts with it. It is too short for VHF and UHF. |
Question: | Does it hold just the quarters or will accommodate plastic holders also |
Answer: | It will work on the UV-6R |
Question: | Do you have a book for dimes nickels and pennies also |
Answer: | If you have the correct SMA connections sure! However if your looking to loose the antenna on the exterior of the vehicle a stock rubber duck on a ht inside the cab would work better than this turd. |
Question: | Does it come with quarters |
Answer: | As for the construction, I’m not sure what “similar ones” you are referring to, but these little cheapies actually are pretty solid. I’ll give them that. None of the covers have come off on any of mine, although the base on the SMA-M ones sometimes needs to be tightened. |
