Based on 297 reviews Check latest price

Product description

This starter kit includes five coins, all with a different date and attractively packaged in a gift bag.

  • Five genuine 100+ year old Indian Head cents
  • All different dates

User questions & answers

Question: If i order more than one will i still get all different dates or will there be repeats
Answer: Unsearched is a loose term used to describe the rolls. What happens is bulk coins from 1909 - 1958 get put into 50 count rolls from a large collection. Since more wheat pennies were made in the 40s and 50s, there are going to be a better chance of getting these in the rolls than ones from the teens, 20s and 30s. The Indian Head enders are put in to "sweeten" the find. In theory, is a grab bag except in roll form.
Question: Is this authentic indian head? Is this uncirculated or circulated? I want to buy 3 rolls of indian head penny together with 5indian head
Answer: The wheat pennies come in a single roll of 50 pennies.
Question: Why show so many coins when you only a few? Seems deceptive
Answer: Full retail value is probably somewhere between $1.50 and about $6.00 depending on condition. Could be more if it's in near perfect uncirculated condition. To coin collectors, condition is EVERYTHING and it's impossible to determine value without knowing the condition.
Question: hi, how many is in one order/quantity
Answer: Book value is between $5 and $25 depending on condition. If you're selling one, cut that in half as that's the most a dealer or collector will offer. Grade the Indian Head coin by looking at "LIBERTY" on the headband. If you can't see it, it is good to fair. If it is visible but worn, it is very good to fine, and if it is sharp, it's very fine to extremely fine.

Answer: I agree, it's a stock photo....all these coins look alike
Question: What is the silver content in each nickel
Answer: Zero. Silver was only used in Jefferson war nickels dated 1942-1945. They are designated with a large mint mark on the reverse above Monticello and are 35% silver. The composition of all other nickel 5-cent pieces produced by the U.S. Mint since 1866 has remained the same 75% copper, 25% nickel composition.
Question: Are these all separate individual dates with no multiples
Answer: No only had about three dates out of the 24 that they sent me I didn’t get 25, most of me and look at under a magnification to see the date
Question: are these real silver
Answer: No! There were some wartime nickels produced with a partial silver content from 1942-1945, but these were Jefferson nickels.
