Answer:	I think a previous commenter may be on to something. I've worn this model for decades, and generally each watch has lasted at least half a dozen years. I've worn them swimming in the pool and in the ocean, and diving down to 20 m. Once or twice before, a watch I'd had for many years got some water inside after a prolonged period in the water. My latest F91-W got water inside and portions of the display failed the first time I had it submerged (an hour and a half in a hot tub, underwater more about half the time). So maybe Casio changed something about the materials or manufacturing process that makes it more susceptible to water. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for exposure like kayaking, pouring rain, taking a swim, etc. In any case it's an incredible watch -- super light, very long battery life, useful functions, unobtrusive and unpretentious -- and a new one is just a day or two and a dozen dollars away if you choose to use it in submersion settings and it fails. (I wouldn't press the buttons while it's submerged, though: that's asking for trouble.)

Question:	What circumference wrist can it fit? i have huge wrists and watches never fit without an xxxl watchband
Answer:	I'm a big guy with big hands. I've had a few female friends wrap their hands around my wrist and they have only been able to get about 2/3 of the way around it. this watch fits me quite well. on the 4th to last hole i get a good bit of movement, on the 5th to last hole its probably about as tight as its supposed to be. i keep it on the 4th hole because i like the extra bit of room

Answer:	It is not CR1216. Correct one is SR626, which is the standard watch size battery. Best to look at actual battery for correct number.

Answer:	The long section is 4 3/4 inches. Too big for me. I've been buying this model of watch for many years and really liked it WHEN I could get the shorter band. This one extends 2 inches beyond the buckle on my wrist, so it's always catching on things. Ugh!
Question:	The water resistance information confuses me. How can it be water resistant to 30 m, but "not withstand showering or submersion?" Thanks
Answer:	It does not withstand a shower, wore mine once in the shower band fell apart and does not work anymore Amazon only has a 30 day return policy so they tell you to go thru Timex and they give you a run around. Bought it in August it’s January and no one can do anything won’t buy another watch thru Amazon!!
