I don't know if I got a lemon, or if Seiko's self-winding watches just can't keep time, which is obviously a significant problem. The Hardlex crystal not being scratch resistant is a smaller problem, but still unacceptable. VERY disappointed in this $100+ watch. However, my $45 battery-powered Casio is the BEST WATCH EVER! Keeps perfect time and the crystal is perfect, despite having been worn 24/7 for 15 yrs. |

| Answer: | I bought my watch in 2014. On the back it says stainless steel, water resistance, and Japan movement. It does not say made in Japan. I have been wearing it every day since 2014 and it still looks new. Not a single scratch and the diamonds are still in place. It is super accurate, no need to adjust time except for daylight savings or time zone difference when I travel. This is the most practical watch that I have and it can be worn in almost any occasion. |
