Answer: You need a Pilot CON-40 or CON-50 converter. However, if you have a pipette or syringe, you can simply refill used cartridges with whatever fountain pen ink you want. I do this all the time. A cartridge is pretty durable and goes a long time before the mouth of the cartridge fatigues and stops giving a good seal.

Answer: I would probably call it italic stub. The sharp edges on the nib is slightly rounded but it retains much of the crispness of an italic nib. Highly recommend this affordable pen.

Answer: Yes. There is noticeable line width difference between horizontal & vertical lines. I compared this pen with my 1.1 mm Lamy stub nib and the Plumix has more line variation! My cursive handwriting looks great with this pen. Love it!

Answer: A bulb converter is already included with this pen. Should you desire a fancier converter, you can get the Pilot Fountain Pen Converter (CON-50). According to Goulet Pens, the included bulb converter actually holds more ink than the CON-50 but the CON-50 shows you the ink level whereas the bulb converter does not. I suggest trying the included bulb converter first before paying extra for the CON-50. I saved a few bucks by just using the included bulb converter.

Answer: I just recently bought this and mine has a leather loop. I’m not sure if that is updated or not. I like it so it doesn’t matter to me.

Answer: I keep a couple of business cards in it. The space is ver-r-ry tight, leather with a thin band of elastic along the side-it does not stretch much. I could probably jam two credit cards in there now and maybe over time it would stretch a bit. If my two sink too far down into the pocket, I need a tweezer or a needle nose pliers to extract.
