Answer:	I had one bike outside exposed to the elements over the course of 4 winter months (Central-East Pennsylvania), and another under this Cover.Results: After 4 months, the exposed bike showed rust on the rear Derailleur assembly, and other parts. The covered bike showed no signs of rust.

Answer:	Well it doesn't have a hole already in place, what you can do is lift the cover a little exposing the peddle and try to place the lock to the bottom frame. A long steel cable lock would work so you can still manage to cover the bike pretty good if that make sense.
