Answer:	one and it is a great boot! used it twice now in the high mountains when a shoe was pulled off miles from our trailer! healed up and did not do any damage to hoof or hair line rubbing! Love this boot

Answer:	Put a piece of paper on the ground. Place your horses foot on the paper. With a pencil draw around your horses foot. Remove paper and measure.

Answer:	Yes, I put it on my mares back left after a shoe came off on the trail. Worked great, even in water and super boggy areas. Measure according to instructions.
Question:	Are these boots steel toe
Answer:	I have a 15.1 hand quarter horse gelding. A size 3 is too small for him. I have a 14.3 mare that is the only one I have that can fit in a size 3. There are instructions on the manufacturers site about how to measure your horse's foot to be sure, but I would consider at least a size 4. I also find that it is easier to get the boot on right after the farrier has come than right before the farrier comes. Watch out for that if your horse grows a lot of hoof.

Answer:	I am 5'3 and 145, and I wear a medium. The length and fit are good, actually still have a little extra room on the waist and thigh. A medium would probably fit, but to be most comfortable riding (with room for long underwear this winter!) I think I would get a large.

Question:	Will these be warm enough for a half hour lesson if I layer socks and add toe warmers
Answer:	I had Dublin's boots first, when they wore out I bought these. They are similar in looks and durability but the river boots are taller, just under my knee. It's easier to tie them close to the leg than the shorter Dublin's. This is a quality boot that keeps my feet warm and dry in the muddy winters in NC. And they are holding up. Mind you like all foot wear, once you worn them, check the inserts on the bottom to see if they are holding up. My foot Dr loves them because they are easy to replace with my orthotics..
Question:	How tall is the shaft of these boots
Answer:	I have worn them wading across streams and walking down a stream for 15-20 ft and they are fine. If you're talking about standing in water like for fly fishing, probably not. Either way, I'd suggest treating with some sort of waterproofer every few months. I have had good luck with mink oil.

Answer:	They are very sturdy and perfectly suitable for riding or even working around the stable. I use them for casual dress only, but that's just my idea of a fashion statement.

Answer:	I ordered these boots in a 6 and they were to small and hurt my toes.Im normally a 6.5. I also had the problem of them being to tall and they hit me in the crevice behind my knee and made it extremely uncomfortable.I didn't order a 7 because I knew the 7 would definitely be to tall for me.I'm 5.2 tall if that helps
