Answer:	I've been wearing these probably for 2 or more years now (I have a bad back and helps a lot) Well from the very first pair I bought and just bought a pair today I have taken the ankle strap right off the shoe. YUP and 99.9 % of the time I'm wearing them I'm wearing them with NO SOCKKS and have never ever had a problem falling out of the or anything like that. As for half size I wear 8-8 and a half I got a 9 then went to a 10 (ALL WOMENS SIZE) Today I got a women's size 11 and I know I will be taking off the strap of those too If I'm not "swimming" in the 11 and have to return them with the ankle straps attached BUT if they fit ok off the starps will come OH AND SOMETHING YOU CAN DO TOO to see if they work for you without the strap on. Just put the strap on the top of the top of the shoe don't have to bother taking the strap off just try that instead I forgot I did that with my very first pair and after wearing them like that for awhile realized I could take the straps right off the shoe and have ever since. I love my crocs (bad back problems) helps a lot. I wear mine constantly and have found that for me the inside sole does wear down after time you'll notice how much when you get a new pair. Answer:	I have tried the sizes 8 and 9 in women's and the 8 is just barely too short, my heel goes over the back and toes just touch the front, and then I ordered a 9 as the only other alternative. Answer:	The most UGLIEST shoes I have ever in my life had on my feet. But for the reason I got myself a pair of them is I have herniated and bulding discs in my back and the minute I put them on my feet for the very first time it was as if they had (the herniated bulging discs had miraculously went away. They are snug around my feet, but almost 3/4-1 inch too long. I would recommend at HALF size lower. I use these shoes for kayaking and I don't need any extra length in the toe box for getting in and out of my kayak. Hope this help!

Answer:	I disagree with the previous posts. I used them to hike down a very muddy and rocky trail to a the Queens Bath in Kauai and they were perfect. Tennis Shoes are a terrible idea for hiking. The mesh confirms to your foot and does not irritate or rub. The barefoot feel helped me navigate the rocky terrain; protecting my feet and allowing me to feel the ground beneath me. The holes in the bottom allowed me to rinse the mud out and dry quickly.

Answer:	They have decent, but not great support. If you don't have an foot problems, they'd be fine. However, as I said in my review, the insole pulled out or came unglued, after a 3-4 hours of wear. They replaced them and the second pair did the same thing after one day of wearing them only inside the house.

Answer:	Holes in sole bottoms are great in water/smooth/path surfaces. I think if path has "very small" pebbles/rocks it could be a problem.

Answer:	It never rolled up or slid while I was putting on the shoes. I was able to remove the insert for cleaning. You could wear the shoes without the insert. I have worn the shoes x 10 days on vacation and then at least once a week x 10 weeks and the shoes are almost new. They clean up well. Insert is still very firm and doesn't move.

Question:	Would you recommend these shoes for beaches to protect feet against shells/rocks? Will sand get trapped in the shoe
Answer:	Yes and yes. The top is gauze like so water and fine sand can get in. The only openings are in the soul to let water out. The shoe will protect you feet very well from shells and rocks and let Sandy water in and out. It has the potential of trapping fine sand that gets in with the water.
Question:	Looking for a new pair of shoes for the river, do these shoes let rocks and sand in easily
Answer:	The shoe upper is mesh so I think sand could get in pretty easily. The sole has drain holes but there is an insole in the shoe which might keep small rocks out but probably not sand.

Answer:	certainly would. these are meant for pool, water aerobics, so balance can be maintained. holes on bottom are 1/2 - 3/4 inch. there are 3 of them.

Answer:	I think so. My daughter has wide feet too and they fit her perfectly. I would say crocs are wider but these are better for me bc there is no strap in the back. Very satisfied with fit and ease of these shoes.

Answer:	My son wears a 2 (Nike). I bought him a 2 and 3 (return what didn’t work) and he needs a 1. In the 2 his big toe was barely to wear the white shell toe started.

The Whisper has a women specific fit, slightly less toe protection, is lighter weight and has thinner more feminine webbing. Question:	I usually wear a size 8 wide. Will these fit wide feet
Answer:	I wear an 8-8.5 in most shoes. I wear an 8.5 in a women’s Newport H2, and a 7 in a men’s Newport H2. The men’s is a bit wider, with a smidge lower arch, and a rounder toebox. Some women with wider feet, prefer the men’s shoe.
