My guess would be they are fine on carpets, they are fine with hardwood, tile, marble, etc. so I would feel certain they would be good on carpeting. Answer:	I'm not sure about being authentic as this was my first pair but they came in an Ugg box with the plastic forms in the toes and the tags thru the fur.
