| Answer: | The owner addressed this with an in depth explanation. My understanding is that due to California having such strict regulations calmer they were forced to only manufacture 1000 sandals per day. Obviously, this would not satisfy the demand as these are popular sandals, therefore they went overseas to produce 75% of the sandals that they sell. The remaining 25 are still made in California to make an attempt at staying true to the brand. The quality remains the same, and the warranty is stellar. Don't be deterred by this idea because they are definitely worth the money! I now own my own pair :) |

| Answer: | For me the straps were very snug. So much so that I actually bought a second pair one size larger than normal to accommodate the snugness. This solved the issue for me, although I wish I didn't have to order a size up because it is slightly larger than what I'm generally comfortable with. I made an exception in this case because the flops are so damn comfy! |

I feel it is a tad too long on the back of my heel but my daughter has the sz med and when I tried hers on my heel is almost hanging off the edge! I wish there was an in between size. According the size chart (the one we were shown in store) a med is 6.5-7.5 and Lg is 7.5-8.5. Hope this helps. I would say they run a little large. |
