Answer:	Boot is not stiff but is very stabilizing. Does not bend easily in my estimation. Waterproof is excellent. I have many times operated on feet and these are good for me

Answer:	The laces are very long. After lacing the boots I have more that 12 inches of study lace. I use a double knot to ensure they stay tied.

Answer:	No. These are not the true 1.5 waterproof version. Those will have the wording "waterproof" embossed on the inside, or inner calf side.

Answer:	It’s typically 1.5-2 sizes down from women to men’s so an 8 in women’s would roughly equate to a 6-6.5. I am 7.5-8 aswell and I am going to buy a 6.5 :)

Answer:	definitely an 8 !!! I am the exact same, 7.5 dress shoes, 8 in sneakers. i also have a wide foot. these are not as wide as i was hoping, but offer me more room than a lot of others i tried on. they will fit a regular foot fine, you won't be swimming in it. you definitely will be an 8 though. i am very happy with them so far this winter. they are so warm, and i have frost bitten feet. on super cold days i am outside for more than an hour or so especially without moving a ton i put heaters in them. they seem to keep water out well. you have to double knot or replace laces, single tied they come undone but that is not hard to fix. i wear them daily, sometimes they are too warm inside, but not too bad. they are comfortable to walk and wear. i hope that helps...
Question:	Does anyone know what the temp comfort rating is on this boot? -20, -40, etc. With only 200g insulation doesn't seem very warm
Answer:	According to many boot manufacturer's, the 3m the manufacturer of thinsulate, 200mg is rated at -40f . Personally I have circulation issues & I need at least 800 mg of thinsulate to stay warm at +30f, but that's me. My fingers turn blue at 69f.

Answer:	Yes it is, grip is also very good and support phenomenal, I did couple of 3 mile hikes and one 11mile as soon as I bought them , never a good choice to put shoes on first time and go 11 miles , but I was so comfortable and I felt my ankles where protected very well. I did not slip once in them.
Question:	Will these do a decent job of keeping dust out
Answer:	All I know is that it keeps my feet from over heating. I do wear socks with these. I can tell you, I’ve worn other sneakers, and these Merrell’s are one of the best sneakers I’ve ever owned. As far as comfort, they’re perfect.
