Answer:	In my opinion, any leather shoe should not be bought/worn with the intention of wearing in rain or snow. I recommend to others that rubber/synthetic boots are best for rain and snow. These boots should do fine with care if you get caught in the rain or snow, but they won't last as long if they are only worn for rain and snow. Leather is leather. I don't use leather jackets for the rain and i don't buy leather gloves for skiing, regardless of what miracle products are available

I have worn them a few times now and the sizing seems to be just right. That said, it seems to me most of us know our shoe size, but have to go larger or smaller sometimes depending on the manufacturer. I would suggest ordering these in the smaller size of whatever that range is for you.

Question:	I'd like an update if they are steel toed? Had 3 pairs that weren't, but the last pair felt like they are
Answer:	It will fit over any shoe that you can snap the snapping plastic top strap around the shoe laces. This attachment is significant, because after you arrive at destination, you can leave it snapped to the shoe laces and remove the elastic strap that goes around the shoe sole off, allowing the thing to just flop around on top of your foot while you go eat or whatever. I think it is made for left foot but you could turn it inside out if you want and invert it. But if you do that the snap on the top will be upside down. It is best to install this thing on your shoe, then put your shoe on. I've bought several of these so I can keep them in different places. Expensive but worth it, as I have swollen feet and can't wear boots.

Answer:	Probably not. It's a snap that is designed to hold the guard into your boot. If you twisted the guard to the side, the part left on top of the boot is just the elastic band. Sorry.

Answer:	It is actually for the left shoe. If you buy this one, do use the safety loop (red) to secure it to your shoelaces. I didn’t and it fell off my shoe while driving.

Answer:	I ride to work (11 miles) every day in them. I bought them specifically to serve as riding boots I could wear all day. They work great for this. Some motorcycle purists might say they're not rugged enough or that the rubber sole isn't sticky enough. The sole is fine if you're a bit careful.BTW, if I had it to over I would stick with my normal size rather than going a half size smaller. Going smaller made them just a bit more snug than would be optimal.
