| Answer: | I don't really know what it is either, frankly, but here's how I use it. If I want my hair to hold its natural wave (I have very long graying hair that does not appear curly at all, but it has some natural wave), I spray this on my damp hair after shampooing and then I scrunch it as I air dry it. I never use a hair dryer. If you use too much of this product, it will make your hair sticky. It adds body, too, but if you use too much it acts kind of like glue, so be careful with it. The product feels sticky on the hair when you put it on damp hair. It acts kind of like hair spray on dry hair, and I don't recommend using much if you use it like hair spray. It does make the natural wave stay in my hair for a day or so if I use it on damp hair after shampooing. I don't use it every time because I'm quite sure it has alcohol in it, and it dries out my hair. I'm not really sold on the product, truthfully. I only use it about once a month or so because my long hair is dry on the ends unless I condition it a lot, and if I use too much conditioner it weighs it down, and I have to wash it every day, which dries it out as well. If I want to make my hair really full with many waves, I use more of the product, scrunch it more as it dries naturally, but I never comb it out before it dries. I let the product dry on my hair, then I just finger comb it after it dries, or I don't brush or comb it at all and just let it have a messy, natural look. I hope this helps. It's hard to explain, really. :) |
