Another option you can try is to move the filler aside and add two zip-ties tightly to the sock leaving about 1/4 inch between the two zip-ties. Answer:	I dont think so. I really like them. More like a second skin shoe. Very easy to slip n. They dont rub or hurt my feet. However, not a thick sole. For rocky shore etc, not recommended. Sandy beach, definitely recommended. We kayak and I use them all the time. They dry quickly as well.

Answer:	No! If you plan to walk on lava rock, for example, to go out to view Kilauea at night, these would get shredded in the first 3 minutes - along with your feet. I was a forester in Hawaii for 20 years, and I always wore leather boots, and after even one trip out on the lava, my boots would look like they had been cut with a machete. I purchased the following 4 styles: -hzxsj-blue/W( red, white and blue) -jz-black(LOVE wording) -Xbl-blue (plain Aqua Blue) -Shoes-bwsj( (leopard print) I wear all outside of water, just love wearing out and about. The Xbl -Blue((Aqua) pair seems wider than the other 3, & a bit slippery inside, allowing foot to slide around inside a bit, when I walk. I wear that pair indoors with an aqua bathrobe. The others seem a better slimmer fit for outdoors. I really love those three, & their extra detail is soo cute! Will post review with pics.
