Answer:	Insoles with high arches can make your feet hurt for the first few weeks. they usually tell you to start by wearing them for 2 hours a day, then after a few days, go to 3 hours a day, then 4 hours and so on. after you can wear them comfortably for 8 hours a day, you can wear them as long as you like. it's a pain in the butt, but once you've done this with one set of high arch insoles, you shouldn't have to do this again.

Answer:	No way. This shoe is not designed for hiking. It is designed to be worn in the water. For example, it is intended to be worn for water aerobics. Your foot has no support at all ... just a covering. BTW, I am a hiker.

Answer:	It never rolled up or slid while I was putting on the shoes. I was able to remove the insert for cleaning. You could wear the shoes without the insert. I have worn the shoes x 10 days on vacation and then at least once a week x 10 weeks and the shoes are almost new. They clean up well. Insert is still very firm and doesn't move.
