There is nothing to keep your foot from pushing out from the sides, and to be a good walking shoe, you need that side support. Also, the support for the arch is lacking and the foot bed is squishy. Others say they are comfortable, just don't plan on doing any real walking in them. |

Also, due to a torn ankle ligament and tendons I was prescribed with orthothics which is expensive and did not fit in a women's shoe so had to buy a man shoe which did not work out so well. With this New Balance shoe it's design to allow easy placement/room of orthotic without having to order a bigger size or a man's shoe. I highly recommend the shoe. I so wish New Balance would have a variety of colors to pick from....gray is not by first choice, but I overlooked color vs. comfort. I cannot completely answer your question if this is the best arch support tennis shoe, but for me it is with the condition I have. No more pain!!! |
