Back on site today to see about replacing first pair of these as they have worked so well. Have another pair of Asics in 11N that also worked well. Always wore New Balance in narrow, but made the switch after trouble finding narrows and problems with feet. I also have very high arches and narrow feet. Also wish more shoes came in 10.5, as often the 11's are too large. These worked. |

| Answer: | Decent but not great. When I used it out of box however it CAUSED a plantar fasciitis problem. I think that condition is partly caused by poor support in general, not just arch. I put some inexpensive full foot gel supports however and that mostly solved the problem. I STILL prefer my Saucony Excursion TR8' s however (my original review said 7 but I was mistaken, they were 8's). If you can find the 7's or 8's anywhere, I recommend them. |

I love the way they feel and look, but after about 5 months of exercise classes, 5 days a week, the mesh on the inside of the foot wore where the 2 plastic strips are. If you look at the picture of the inside of the foot(opposite of the N), you'll see there is about 1/8th of an inch of mesh between the plastic around the laces and the plastic on the toe of the shoe. I hope this makes since. I would love to buy another pair, but 5 months is a short time for a hole to wear and it is very noticeable and ugly. |

| Answer: | Hi, so the color is not Red. It is more of a Coral. The front part of the sole is the Coral color, and there is also accent to the darker blue part of the sole/shoe with the Coral. The Merrill Logo at the back of the shoe is coral. The combination of light lighter blue and darker blue and Coral is quite nice. I get so many compliments on the shoe. Love love them. They are light, well made, comfy, and FUN. |

| Answer: | Stack height of the trail glove 5 is 11.5 mm as was the trail glove 4. Trail glove 3 was 10.5 mm |
| Question: | The bare thread and no padding around the toe area is killing my toes. anything i can do about this |
| Answer: | Hi. This feels very much like a zero drop shoe (which is one of the reasons I got it). And yes, I can feel cushioning. I walk a lot in the city and I need “barefoot” type of footwear that can also provide support and cushioning due to all the pavement-walking. I hope that helps. |

| Answer: | No it means Medium width. For me they fit well. I have a wider foot so I always go up one 1/2 size to ensure a wide enough fit |
