Answer:	If you’re talking about over rocks, the sole will probably be too flexible for running. Dirt trails and boulders should be just fine. The sole is just really flexible so you’d have to take terrain into account.

Question:	My feet get hot and sweat easily. Is that an issue with Fitkicks
Answer:	I wore them all n a full time warehouse environment, put about 9-13 miles a day, 4-5 days a week. They started wearing out at the widest part of the foot, where the toe bones meet the foot bones. And the heels. Did the shoe goo thing, kept them going, but couldn't get the shoe goo smooth enough on the inside of the holes. Had to give them up. Otherwise they were fine. If you get them and they don't need to be beautiful, reinforce the sides with the shoe goo before they wear out, and they will last much longer. Or add shoe goo and a piece of fabric to keep the goo smooth. Wish the shoe was as durable as the sole!

Answer:	The Prio is more of an athletic minimalist running/training shoe. It's served me well as an everyday shoe and as my minimalist runner in the month I've had my pair. The Hana is Xero's more casual shoe for everyday use and wear in contrast to it's athletic counterpart the Prio. The Hana also has more muted color schemes than the Prio in addition to being made of different, canvas, top material. Hope this helps!

Answer:	I wear them for hiking on rough wooded and rocky terrain. It took a few hikes for my feet to get used to them, but now I much prefer them to my hiking boots. At first its easy to think that feeling every rock and root is uncomfortable, but after a wearing them for half a dozen hikes, I just didn't enjoy hiking in my hiking boots anymore. I feel much more surefooted and the sensory feedback actually enhances my enjoyment. The only reason I don't wear them for hiking now is when its cold and wet. These shoes are not waterproof.

Answer:	I was in the desert at 118° F. I walked a good 2 miles in these and I didn't experience any sweating. It was my first time wearing them. The material feels breathable. I'd just encourage you to get the right fit bc if they're snug, they could irritate and smother the feet without the sweating

Answer:	They are very light and flexible but I don't know the weight. I compared picking one up vs a minimalist shoe and they're comparable, maybe lighter. They should work well for your purposes I would think. I find them comfortable in sand and fine gravel (even road gravel for a ways) and they dry quickly. Haven't tried them on river rock type stuff yet though. They are so flat you could stick them in anywhere.

Answer:	The upper material is stretchy & flexible, but there is a seam where the soft sides connect with the stiffer soles. The elastic at the top isn't tight on me. It does make a slight mark if I wear them for a long period of time, but it's not uncomfortable. My feet are a true B width, and they do have room to "spread" when I walk in these. The only problem I can think of would be the possibility of rubbing at the edges. Hope that helps. :-)

Answer:	GREAT for hiking!! I think this shoe is outdated (i.e. this model no longer made,) but I still search them out to buy new online! Amazon always has some in my size *somewhere* lol. ANYWAY, FOR HIKING? ABSOLUTELY YES!!! I trained for a 5 day hike in the Grand Canyon with some lightweight hiking boots, and ultimately brought along and USED for the entire trip my Gel Venture 5’s!!! I did order a 1/2 size larger, because the hardest part of our hike was 10 miles down into the Canyon and needed that extra toe room. Also laced them up really well to prevent shifting in that extra 1/2 inch... and they were fantastic. Good grip and traction, and fabulous comfort all day. Highly recommended... I’ve had prob 5 pairs of these in the past several years. Hiking, walking, jogging, running, working; Whatever! These will keep your feet happy.
Question:	How much room should there be for toes? The heel seems to fit sung but my toes seem to be swimming in room. Is that normal
Answer:	Women's size (8) feels true to fit. Men's (9.5) was returned for a wide option. Support in the shoe feels sturdy, and you can tell it's there. If you like more space order wide, it's snug across the top. Good stability for trails, thus the close quarter feel.

Answer:	I wear 10.5N or 11N in athletic shoes, 10N in other/dress/casual shoes. These only came medium width, but after reviews, ordered in 10.5B and have been great for me. I did remove insole and replaced with custom orthotics for plantar f. which has finally improved after more than a year of treatment and being REALLY careful of what shoes I wore. Back on site today to see about replacing first pair of these as they have worked so well. Have another pair of Asics in 11N that also worked well. Always wore New Balance in narrow, but made the switch after trouble finding narrows and problems with feet. I also have very high arches and narrow feet. Also wish more shoes came in 10.5, as often the 11's are too large. These worked.
