Premium Quality Sterling Silver 4-Way Medal
Arranged in the shape of a cross, the Four-Way medal can vary in appearance, however the most popular form includes a Sacred Heart of Jesus medal, St. Christopher medal, St. Joseph medal and the Miraculous Medal.
What Makes a Premium Quality 4-Way Medal?
This handsome piece is die-struck: an exceptional process of manufacturing that creates heirloom quality jewelry. The process starts with a sculptor hand carving the original design into a block of steel called a die. The die is then placed in a high tonnage press to transfer the detail from the original carving in the die on to a piece of softer precious metal. This process allows for maximum detail to transfer from the original work of art created by the sculptor in to the finished piece of jewelry.
With this piece, matching dies have been carved by hand so the front and back are a perfect fit, both reflecting the artistry of the sculptor.
Made With Pride In The U.S.A.
Special care has been taken to ensure the highest level of detail. The die-struck manufacturing, in addition to making a stronger medal, provides much more detail than conventional cast medals. The medal is filled in with black oxidation for a more dramatic look, and for better readability. This medal comes with a deluxe rhodium plated, stainless steel chain. Sturdy, yet elegant, this chain makes the perfect accompaniment for this stunning piece.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it a real sterling silver |
Answer: | Not your finger but it fade from silver to brass looking. I returned my two weeks after I received it. |
Question: | Anyone have any issues with the color changing or band pealing or stones lost |
Answer: | The 2 carat was big enough. I think if I had the 3 carat it would have looked very fake & cheap. |
Question: | Can you purchase just the band |
Answer: | The carat size for this ring looks absolutely real. Each is about 1 carat. The cut & sparkle are really true to a real diamond. I love this ring! I can wear it everyday. I also stack it with other band/ eternity rings. |
Question: | Where can I buy beautiful jewelry? Is the price cheap |
Answer: | The measurements generally given for the carat weights of CZ, no matter what its made of, are given in "diamond equivalencies" only. In other words, if you take a diamond of precisely one carat in weight, and compare it with a CZ of precisely the same physical measurement in width across the top only, then it could be said that the CZ is a "one carat" stone as well. But, since carat measurements are of the actual weight of the stone, and CZ is denser material than carbon diamonds, if you put each one on a carat scale, the CZ would weigh more than the diamond, therefore having a higher carat measurement than the diamond. But, since nobody really cares about the weights of CZs, all they are really looking for is what looks like specific diamond sizes to the eye, not the scale. So, carat equivalencies are used to describe CZ's. Therefore, in order to accomplish several things, charts have been constructed to give specific ideal measurements to each specific size of diamonds, and these measurements are used to describe CZ's likewise, as "look alikes." For instance, if you measure across the widest part of the stone, looking down at the top, as if you were looking at it set in a 6 prong ring mounting, and the measurement is 6.5mm, then that is described as the diamond equivalency of 1.03ct. But to keep it simple, they round it off and call it a one carat stone. This is of course given that all the other measurements are ideal, not too short, making the stone flatter than the best cut, or too tall, taller than the best cut. (Either one of those would cause the appearance of the diamond to lose fire, sparkle, and vibrancy.) So - giving a little leeway here and there, we can assume the following measurements and carat equivalencies will be helpful in figuring out what stones appear to be which weights: ○ 4mm = .25ct ○ 5mm = .46ct ○ 5.25mm = .56 (somewhere in between those two gets you. 50ct) ○ 6mm = .84ct ○ 6.5mm = 1.03ct (1.00 average) ○ 7mm = 1.28ct ○ 7.25mm = 1.49ct ○ 7.5mm = 1.67ct ○ 8mm = 2.04ct ○ 8.5mm = 2.49ct ○ 9mm = 2.75ct ○ 9.25 = 3.05 ○ 9.5mm = 3.35ct ○ 10mm = 3.87ct Those should cover just about anything you should come across on here! If not, there's plenty more information available by Googling "mm to carat weight" and picking out one of many options. This chart, and several others covering other shapes of diamonds, came from a site done by a very knowledgeable gentleman who's been working in the jewelry business for a few decades! 😉 This particular set of measurements covers round brilliant cut diamonds *only* - not colored gems, or other shapes of diamonds. Colored gems are only professionally measured in mm width, length (and depth), not carat weights, since the style of their cuts can vary greatly, so the true size can as well. |
