Answer:	The earings as a whole are light, no matter what size... I bought 4 pair, 3 cttw, meaning 1 and 1/2 carats in each ear. Also 3 carats in each ear, and they were very comforatable. Not too big. I also bought 2 cttw, meaning 1 carat in each ear... These are the prettiest and just the right size to get attention, without being showy... I believe the 5 cttw would be too big, meaning 2 1/2 carats each ear, or 5 carats in each ear, depending on how it is labeled and decribed, as you can get each type of size from these earings. Very beautiful! Smaller is better, facets more compact, and have major sparkle!
