Answer:	Yes, much more comfortable than traditional style. Big plus is how easy they are to remove, and they don't get stuck in ear canal.

Answer:	I may have only snorkeled down to 15 feet or so. I wore them cause I have a ruptured drum from starter pistol going off next to my ear. Swimming in shallow waters I get water running down into my ear canal that hurts. Some other divers told me they don't trust stuff in thier ears because of the pressure. When I went down I could feel the pressure start but remember is had also been about ten years or more since I did any kind of diving so I wasn't used to it. The pressure should hit you but for these to get knocked out of your ears that way would be crazy. You could put allot of pressure on your ear drum but worst case if you're not prepared for that to happen you'll just have to surface and recover. Have you been able to swim without plugs before this would let you know how you'd adjust to pressure. I had no problems with them at all and loved them. Perfect fit and no water into my ears after 8-10 days in and out of the water. I plan on using them again.

Answer:	I would not think so, while ascending the air pressure in your ears is greater than the cabin pressure so you would want your middle ear pressure to equalize which these would probably prevent. While descending the cabin pressure is greater than the air pressure in your ears so you would need to either, yawn, swallow or valsalva (forcibly breath out while hold your nose and mouth closed) to equalize the pressure, which I would think these would interfere with.
