Answer:	The quality is great. The leather isn't cheap or easily scratched. The lining is a strong, silky material. The handles seem durable and well attached. there are no issues with stitching or loose strings.

Answer:	The tote does support a heavy load. For example, I use the tote for everyday and aside from the usual items (wallet, notebook, keys, personal items etc.) I also carry my laptop and external harddrive in it. Everything fits nicely and so far (4 months of everyday use) I have had no issues with the addition of heavy items. The straps do not show any signs of strain and the bag has held up quite nicely.

Answer:	No, the front and side pockets are very shallow. It does however have three deep wide internal pockets. They are so big though, that if you were being attacked, you would be dead by the time you found your gun. You would have better luck carrying a brick in your purse and hitting your assailant with the whole purse.
