Answer:	Yes, easily. I used it as my school bag and it fit a large 3 ring binder, my laptop, and two bottles of water.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it. Since it's made out of cloth, sharp corners may cause the cloth to tare. It could support a tablet with case, a two subject notebook and make a pencil case. Anything more than that might cause damage.
