Answer:	We took it overseas and it went through screening fine though they may ask you to empty it because i think there are thin strips of metal in the straps to make it difficult for a thief to cut and run with it and i am sure tsa is familiar with the bags.

Answer:	I agree that a mini iPad will likely fit, but you won't get in anything else bulky. A normal sized iPad wouldn't, especially if it has any sort of cover on it at all.

Answer:	I was going to say "No' because I have never tried to carry either in the bag. But the answer is "Yes." I got my bag, put a small bottle of water (the size you pick up in a Deli for $1.00) and my small fold up umbrella, which I have been carrying for two years in my regular everyday bag). These two went into the central compartment. On top of them I put my reading glasses in a case, and then my bulky sunglasses. You can snuggle your passport or whatever in there. In the front pocket, I put my cell phone. In the other front pocket, I can put my credit card, metro card, driver's license and a #20 bill. (With the umbrella and water bottle, I would not want to carry my bulky wallet). So now I still have the two long pockets- one above the two front pockets and one in the back of the bag. Definitely, my mirror , lipstick, eyedrops, pen and whatever will go in the front long pocket. But catastrophe- where do I put my Kindle. I would forego everything else but the Kindle. And wow. The Kindle fits into the back long pocket.So I have done a test run. Put all of this stuff in my bag and all compartments close, the bag does not look bulky and it is not overly heavy. And you can get more stuff in-tissues, check book. I am glad you asked the question. Now I know it can be done and quite comfortably.

Answer:	IF you are concerned about that then only put non-essentials in the bag and wear a body pouch under your clothes with documents, cards, cash etc. Nothing can prevent it from being pulled off. I tend to wear it under a vest or jacket

Question:	Does this bag have a cell phone pocket
Answer:	Yes, there's a nice pocket in back with a side zip that I think was the intended phone pocket. It might work fine for most phones. However - and this is just my observation only, if you have the extra large IPhone, the phone pocket will fit the phone without a plastic protector, but will not fit comfortably with a plastic protector on the phone. My solution was to keep the plastic protector and make a nice slide on cover from fabric remnants for the main purse pocket. I just toured DC with this purse for 4 days and found it extremely useful, in fact I loved it everywhere I went. It especially works great when you are moving through security checks which are performed in every single museum! You just open all the pockets, they take a quick look, and you're ready to move on. Fantastic travel purse.

Answer:	I have been traveling with my bag this summer and it has worked perfectly. The strap is wide enough that it stays where I put it for crossbody and I have not had any problem. I usually set it back towards my shoulder and it stays there. I do not overstuff the bag and really can forget that it is there. I love being able to adjust the strap for over the shoulder or even shorter for the elbow depending on what I am doing. I have other crossbody bags that did dig in and were constantly slipping off my shoulder when wearing them. This one hasn't been a problem and it is my second one purchased I got my newest one in the light color for summer, My other is black. Must be good when you want it again!
Question:	Would this fit a standard (16.9 fl oz) plastic water bottle standing up and be able to be zipped closed
Answer:	I placed a 16.9oz bottle of Canada Dry Ginger Ale in the bag and it did not fit; however, that bottle is tall and not "fat". I put a 20oz botle of Aquafina water and it fit the same as the ginger ale. The water bottle was the same height as the ginger ale, but it is a "chubby" bottle. A 12oz bottle of Dr. Pepper fits perfect---NO problem zipping it up. Good LUCK

Answer:	I don't think there is a way that you could actually lock it, even with a separate lock. It could attach to a chair by unclasping the strap, wrapping it around a chair leg, and re-attaching it to the body of the bag. I don't think the intent is to lock it up as if you were going to walk away, but rather to just make it more difficult for someone to snatch it while you are not paying attention.

Answer:	Yes it will fit an iPad mini for sure. This bag fits a lot more than it appears. And has many pockets to organize your items.

Answer:	Midnight is a dark muted navy. It has a Dove Gray interior.

Answer:	When the strap is unattached from the bag, the strap itself is 52 inches long. Attached to the bag the drop would be around 27- 30 inches. I wear mine crossbody and have room to move.(I'm at this point in time, considered a mildly plus size gal.)

Question:	Is there any stiffness to the sides of the purse? In other words, if it's empty, does it still stand up or just collapse
Answer:	It does stand up on its own. The bottom and the sides seem to work together. I've always preferred purses that stand up also. I believe you will like it. I have the green one. I've had it over a year and its still in good shape. If you don't like it returns are easy.
Question:	What size water bottle fits in the side pocket
Answer:	The side pocket with the elastic bottle holder will hold a 3 inch diameter bottle. The fabric length is 3 inches high. I tested a Contigo Blender Bottle and a Camelbak Chute bottle and both were 3 inches in diameter. Both fit tightly.

Zipper pocket in back holds money and ID. It is canvas so NOT waterproof. But i can put my phone in a ziplock sandwich bag to keep it dry.
