Answer:	I can't advise what size you should order. My experience with them wasn't good. I don't trust the sizing on these at all. I wear a 9 1/2 and following the instructions to size up plus order size larger after that, ordered an 11 which turned out to be too short and wide. My toes rubbed on one end and they slipped off at the heel because they were way too wide. Sent them back for refund.

Answer:	The material is not as heavy as wool or as soft as cotton. I think the wool-like description is the best way to describe them. The inside though has a very soft lining that makes them warm and cozy.

Answer:	I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 wide. I ordered the 9 and it fits well. It's snug but that's what I wanted, slippers always stretch and the memory foam will flatten. If I had gone up 1 1/2 sizes as the description suggests these would end up being way too big.

Answer:	I don't think they are, and I have pretty heavy ankles. I have three pair now and love them.
