Answer:	74% Polyester, 25% Nylon, 1% Elastic. Thorlo does not use cotton in our socks. Cotton will absorb and hold moisture, which leads to blistering. Cotton also pills, which leads to the socks wearing out too soon. Hope this helps you.

Question:	Are these socks good for running? Are they thick enough to prevent blisters
Answer:	I have size 12 shoes. I ordered 12-15 size. When I got them there were no size markings on the pack anywhere!!! Fit tight!! I returned them.

Answer:	So far no. I walk between 5-8 miles a day wearing them and there is no sign of wear in heel or toe. However they are not extra cushioned there either so if your heel is loose in the shoe you may get more wear than me

Answer:	The inside circumference of the top band is just 6 inches when unstretched (that's for the size 12-15). My calf is 15.5 inches. If I pull these socks all the way up, I might as well apply a tourniquet. I wear them below the calf where they must stretch to only 12 inches and they still leave a deep mark. If your calf is any larger than 12 inches, I'd guess you will find these uncomfortably tight.

Answer:	Yes there is, but the chime was lousy, more a clunk clunk, than a chime.

Answer:	The Chime needs a 3rd wire, a 16v standby power from the transformer to the circuit board to work. The battery will provide this 16v power if you are replacing an old 2 wired bell without the 3rd wire. The 2 batteries will provide the required standby power to the circuit board and the original 2 wires will provide power to activate the bells when the door button is push. You'll not need the batteries if you have the 3rd wire in your house.
