Answer:	Yes. It is labeled as "Commercial Grade" with the caveat that when not in use it should be stored inside. I have mine in the barn, 24/7, would probably want a "protector" over the plug/source area but otherwise seems to be properly rated as a 15 gauge.

Answer:	Many options... go to your local hardware or to Lowe's or Home Depot in the wiring and electric area. However what I do is using existing hooks from hanging pictures to route the cable. Use what is there first, then use extra hooks as needed.

Answer:	No, it is operable via the remote only unless you unplug it. Not sure why you wouldn't use the remote. You can buy power strips with an on/off switch if that is a requirement.
