I actually made a tiny slit and removed the 4 flexible spines, so it was an easy fix! If you are taller, the spines would be fine. I am using this as a post-op binder and it is much more comfortable and less visible than the ones with velcro or hooks. I'm happy with the purchase.

Answer:	Ya I used mine immediately after I had my son, I definitely feel like it helped pull my muscles back together but it slides up when sitting. Answer:	There are only two sizes XL and one size. The one I purchased was xl- one packet and it came with 3 pieces. I would make sure you take in consideration the measurements not so much the weight because I weigh a lot more than what I look and I almost should have gone to one size.
