Answer:	I wear a medium for better thigh and tummy control and large if I want to be a little more comfortable. I wear 1X in dresses and 2X in pants and I am pear shaped with a little tummy definitely not flat but not overly large. I hope this helps. My tummy is not flat but it it gets flat enough to wear body-con style dresses if i wear a medium size. The large is more comfortable and has some control at my size but the medium provides more tummy and thigh control but causes mild indents in the thighs.

There are people who are 160lbs with a 33-35" waist that would need to order a XL or 2X. But there are people, like myself, 200lbs with a 27" waist that would need to order a Medium.

Answer:	If you use it with pants it does roll down because the jeans it's push when you sit and stand it's not a thing buying a bigger size will help. I know that when I wear it to work out it doesn't do that. But the vest might help it stay in place. I haven't tried that. But hope it works for you.
