Answer:	Personally, I would not wear it alone. It looks like a nice, lacy bra, not a halter top. Plus, it does show a lot of cleavage depending on your cup size. However, it may work nicely peeking out from under a top, or through a see through shirt.

Answer:	There are 2 seams on the lace band. Each one is positioned near the area below the center of each cup. I think it's unfortunate to have those two seams right over the ribcage area! However, they only really bothered me once, after a long flight. This a an extremely comfortable bra and I do wear it a lot.
