| Answer: | These are rather thin foam shells which have a 3-sided cut on the underside to slip over a strap; I'm not sure how you'd hold them in place. But even if you did, I don't think they'd add the right front-to-back thickness and would tend to "perch" on you. I gave up on them, and I have the requisite straps. I think you'd do better going to a tailor and having him create shaped pads that fit you correctly; have them covered in a removable slick-fabric cover (like polyester or taffeta) with a "male" velcro strip on top, put the "female" velcro strip in your shirts (the soft part, in case you wear the shirts without pad; you don't want sharp hooks pressing on your shoulder), and just press them into place and adjust as you need. One-time expense, but it would be right for you and help you look your best and your clothes fit well. Best of luck. |
