Answer:	I'm in the Chicago area and I was worried because it felt thin but even when it has been in single digits or less I've been comfortably warm. If anything, I'm more likely to be too warm in this so I'm not wearing layers and sweaters underneath or using my scarf to help keep my chest and back warm. That said, I'm not standing out waiting for buses or walking long distances so that might change my mind, but then I probably would just dress warmer underneath and other parts of me not covered by the coat would most likely be the problem.
