Answer:	The waist is not elastic. Worse, the "belt" that comes with it constantly slips/loosens. I brought a good belt and the pants then worked ok.

Answer:	length (mine 32") was fine. I am a 50" waste and ordered a 54" just to be safe. A 50" waste probably would have been fine, but next time I'll order a 52" just to be safe (a hedge against more weight gain). Having said all that, ordering the correct size would have given me an exact fit!

Answer:	Seems a very low price is listed to draw you in. An age-old gimic. But the low price is usually for an emaciated waist that fits few, like a waste size of 28. But pick a larger waist size (face it - we all have to) & price doubles. So I view it as a typical marketing ploy. Also, if a product is just introduced, price can be surprisingly low. But when you try to reorder more at same price, even several days later, forget it. Price has jumped up. So if you are ordering a new product at a great price & think you will really like it, I suggest you order several at that low intro price which is about to inflate faster than my waist size. You can always return some of them thanks to Prime membership. I am a retired psychologist but the "marketeers" humble me with their strategic mastery of subtle customer manipulation. But Amazon is one of the most "on the level" companies out there, which is why I try to buy everything I need with my Prime membership. I wandered off to another website last week & bought 2 pantries at a clearance price. Then discovered Amazon offered the same product $40 cheaper. I called the "Brand X" company & was basically informed "tough luck." Also, if a problem persists with a product purchased thru Amazon their customer service reps have ALWAYS solved it for me in the past 7 years. Amazon really keeps their sellers in line. Answer:	No, there are no bottom hem zippers. The fabric feels no colder than jeans when it is cold out. And when it is really, really cold, wearing two pairs of pants is remarkably warm. I learned this trick when I was traveling and had only 2 pairs of pants. The fabric is very wind resistant, and wearing two pair of these guys traps an insulating layer of air between the inner and outer pants.

Answer:	I got a pair of 50x30 and they fit pretty good. A bit snug in the crotch area when sitting in the car. Legs are straight fit but really baggy on me. But its nice having that bit of mobility.
